Are you sure you want to report NOT GUILTY Giddey for inappropriate content?

  • 87-87-6 5th Place
    • Limited role Saturday
Giddey closed Saturday's 117-116 loss to Dallas in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals with two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes.

Advice: Giddey played just 10 minutes in the loss, ending what has been a disappointing season for the young Australian. Having started the majority of the season, he was moved to the bench in recent games. In fact, he played fewer than 15 minutes in five straight contests to end the campaign, placing some doubt over what his role could look like in 2024-25. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:58 pm
    • Josh Giddey plays 11 minutes in series finale
Josh Giddey shot 1-of-3 from the field in Saturday’s 117-116 loss to Dallas, accounting for two points, four rebounds, and one assist in 11 minutes.

Advice: After playing well in the final three games of Oklahoma City’s four-game sweep of New Orleans, Giddey offered little value against the Mavericks. He played 17 minutes in the series opener and no more than 13 in any of the five games that followed. For Games 5 and 6, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault replaced Giddey in the starting lineup with Isaiah Joe due to the need for a floor spacer. The former lottery pick is eligible for a rookie-level extension this summer, but it’s fair to wonder if he’s the “odd man out” in Oklahoma City. Giddey, who had a Yahoo ADP of 58.9, finished the regular season ranked well outside the top 100. If he remains with the Thunder, he shouldn’t be selected with a top 100 pick. • PJ Washington sinks series-winning free throws
PJ Washington shot 2-of-6 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over Oklahoma City, scoring nine points with five rebounds, two assists, and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: Scoring-wise, Game 6 was Washington’s worst of the series. However, more will remember the two free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining that clinched the game (and the series) for Dallas. Washington had a good series overall, scoring 21 points or more in Games 2 through 4 and recording three double-doubles. Next will be another difficult matchup, with the Mavericks facing the Nuggets or Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:11 pm
    • Mike Conley (calf) questionable for Game 7 Sunday
Mike Conley (right soleus strain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.

Advice: Conley returned to the Timberwolves’ lineup for Game 6, and his presence also benefitted Anthony Edwards in the 45-point victory. If the veteran point guard cannot play in Game 7, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will move into the starting lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:59 pm
    • Questionable for Sunday
Conley (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday's Game 7 against Denver.

Advice: After missing Game 5 with this same injury, Conley played in Game 6 on Thursday and finished with 13 points, five assists, four rebounds and one block in 31 minutes. With Minnesota's season on the line, Conley will likely attempt to power through the issue again. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:54 pm
    • Upgraded to questionable
Anunoby (hamstring) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers.

Advice: The questionable tag is all there is to work with right now in terms of specifics, but New York fans will be thrilled that there's a chance Anunoby is able play for the first time since Game 2. There should be additional clarity on Anunoby's status following the Sunday morning shootaround. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:40 pm
    • OG Anunoby (hamstring) questionable for Game 7
OG Anunoby (left hamstring strain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.

Advice: Anunoby has not played since injuring his hamstring during the third quarter of Game 2. With Josh Hart also questionable for Sunday’s game due to a strained abdominal, getting Anunoby back (as long as he’s healthy) would give the Knicks a welcome boost. Miles McBride started Games 5 and 6 for Anunoby and will remain in that role if OG cannot play. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:36 pm
    • Miles McBride hits four triples, scores 20 points
Miles McBride shot 8-of-12 from the field in Friday’s loss to the Pacers, amassing 20 points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Making his second straight start, Deuce shot the ball well in Game 6. It may have mattered more had Jalen Brunson not going 2-of-13 from the field in the first half, and Josh Hart was limited with an abdominal injury. McBride wasn’t as impactful as in Game 5, but the Knicks should be encouraged by his offensive output in Friday’s defeat. They’ll need a similar effort from Deuce in Game 7 on Sunday afternoon. The winner faces Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals, which begin on Tuesday night. Rotoworld Friday, 8:30 pm
    • Mike Conley (calf) active Thursday vs. Nuggets
Mike Conley (right soleus strain) has been upgraded from probable to active for Thursday’s Timberwolves-Nuggets game

Advice: Conley is good to go after missing his last game and is likely start and bump Nickeil Alexander-Walker back to the bench. Rotoworld Thursday, 4:51 pm
