  • Russell Westbrook ejected in fourth quarter
    Russell Westbrook has been ejected from Game 3 against Dallas on Friday.

    Advice: After getting tangled up with Luka Doncic, Westbrook shoved Doncic away from him and threw push at PJ Washington after that. There were plenty of words exchanged as well, which ended Westbrook’s night halfway through the fourth quarter. He had one point on 1-of-7 shooting, so this was certainly a frustrating night for him.   • Starting Game 3
    O'Neale will start Friday's Game versus the Timberwolves, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

    Advice: Grayson Allen (ankle) will sit out Game 3, but he's considered day-to-day and could be back for Game 4 on Sunday. In 14 starts during the regular season, O'Neale averaged 10.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.9 three-pointers. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago
     
  • Royce O’Neale to start in place of Grayson Allen
    Royce O’Neale will join Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic in the starting unit for Game 3 against Minnesota on Friday.

    Grayson Allen (right ankle sprain) has been downgraded to out for Game 3 against Minnesota on Friday.

    Advice: Allen injured his ankle in Game 1, but he was able to suit up for Game 2. He injured is again in that game, and it will keep him sidelined as the series shifts to Phoenix.     Advice: This is a tough blow for the Suns, as Allen has been key to Phoenix's floor spacing this season. He was able to get in a limited practice Thursday and is considered day-to-day, so the Suns could potentially get him back for Game 4 on Sunday.   • Tyrese Haliburton ices Game 3 with floater
    Tyrese Haliburton recorded a triple-double on Friday with 18 points (8-of-22 FGs), 10 rebounds, 16 assists, one block and one triple in a 121-118 win over Milwaukee in Game 3.

    Advice: Haliburton didn’t score much throughout the game, but he came up big when they needed him to. He struggled with his deep-range shot (1-of-12), so he chose to attack the basket with the game tied in overtime. He ended up knocking down a floater and converting the and-one to give them a 3-point victory. This was just the fourth playoff triple-double in franchise histroy, which was enough to help them take a 2-1 lead in the series.   • Nears 30 points despite injury
    Lillard posted 28 points (6-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three steals and one rebound over 45 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

    Advice: Despite leaving Friday's game briefly with a knee injury, Lillard finished the Game 3 contest while leading all Bucks players in assists and ending two points shy of the 30-point mark to provide a boost offensively in a losing effort. Lillard, who was perfect from the free-throw line to go along with a team-high-tying mark from three, has posted at least 28 points in all three games of the quarterfinals.   • Briefly leaves Game 3
    Doncic briefly left Friday's Game 3 versus the Clippers with 3:01 remaining in the first quarter with an apparent right knee issue, but returned with 12 seconds to play in the quarter, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.

  • Damian Lillard shrugs off early injury, scores 28
    Damian Lillard struggled with his shot but still finished with 28 points (6-of-20 FGs, 12-of-12 FTs), one rebound, eight assists, three steals and four 3-pointers against Indiana in Game 3 on Friday.

    Advice: Lillard exited briefly during the first quarter because of an injury, but he came back quickly and was able to finish out the game. The Bucks can’t afford another injury, since they’ll likely be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the entire first round. Dame struggled with his shot, and he was clearly banged up at the end of the game. Game 4 is on Sunday, so he will only have two days to recover before they’ll need him once again, as they look to avoid going down 3-1. After the game, Doc Rivers said that Lillard went to the locker room because of an Achilles injury, and that “Dame was really struggling. In the overtime, he said I’ll be the decoy. I just can’t go, as far as explosion.” That is certainly concerning, and there is certainly a chance that he misses Game 4. Rotoworld Today, 5:48 pm
