    Gafford totaled 16 points (5-12 FG, 6-8 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and five blocks across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Gafford recorded a double-double in the loss, adding five blocks. It was arguably his best performance of the postseason and something the Mavericks are going to need more of should they hope to advance to the Conference Finals.   • Daniel Gafford records 16/11 double-double
    Daniel Gafford recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 16 points (5-of-12 FGs), 11 rebounds, one assist and five blocks against the Thunder.

    Advice: Gafford had a quiet first round series against the Clippers, but he was much better in the first game of this series. He recorded his first double-double of this postseason and swatted five shots, which was his highest block total in a game since March. Gafford has a better matchup in this series, and with Maxi Kleber sidelined for at least three weeks, he’ll continue to see extra minutes. He played 27 minutes in this game, which was more minutes than he played in any game in the first round. He’ll play a large role once again in Game 2 on Thursday. Rotoworld Today, 9:25 pm
  • Chet Holmgren stuffs stat sheet with 19/7/1/2/3
    Chet Holmgren posted a full line on Tuesday with 19 points (8-of-16 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist, two steals, three blocks and two triples against the Mavericks in Game 1.

    Advice: Holmgren did a bit of everything in this game, which included plenty of production on the defensive end. After failing to record a defensive stat in their closeout win over the Pelicans, Holmgren got back on track in this one. While the steals and blocks are nice for DFS leagues, his defensive impact goes beyond the box score. Holmgren is a big reason why the Thunder has yet to allow 100 points in a game so far during this postseason. They’ll look to keep that streak going in Game 2 against Dallas on Thursday.   • Evan Mobley puts up 17/13 double-double in loss
    Evan Mobley recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 17 points (8-of-12 FGs), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block in Game 1 against Boston.

    Advice: Mobley didn’t have a great series offensively against the Magic, but he was able to tie his highest-scoring game from the first round on Tuesday. Most of that came in the second half, as he scored 15 of his 19 after the break, including 10 points in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, his efforts weren’t enough to close the gap in the scoreboard. Mobley will continue to start at center until Jarrett Allen (ribs) returns to the lineup, and while he has shown flashes this postseason, the overall result of Mobley as the only big has been underwhelming.   • Exercises player option
    Wood exercised his $3 million player option for the 2024-25 season Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

    Advice: Wood was a sporadic part of the rotation in Los Angeles this season, appearing in 50 games with averages of 6.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.4 minutes. There could potentially be a lot of changes for the Lakers this offseason depending on whether or not LeBron James picks up his player option, so it's difficult to project Wood's role for next season at the moment.     Gordon registered 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 106-80 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Gordon played with tons of energy and tried to spark the rest of the team throughout the game, but his efforts were unsuccessful. This game snapped a three-game streak of Gordon not being able to reach double-digit figures in the scoring column, and Gordon needs to remain a valuable offensive alternative for the Nuggets if they want to have a shot at turning the series around, especially given the struggles of both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter.     Towns closed with 27 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 106-80 win over the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Towns was tasked with more responsibility on the defensive end since Rudy Gobert (personal) was unavailable for this contest. Even though he had to deal with Nikola Jokic on both ends of the court, Towns thrived and posted a great stat line. This was Towns' third double-double over his last four playoff appearances, and he's expected to return to his role at power forward in case Gobert is ready to return for Game 3 of the series, scheduled for Friday.   • Aaron Gordon leads Nuggets with 20 points Monday
    Aaron Gordon played 33 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 loss to the Timberwolves, accounting for 20 points (8-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers.

    Advice: Gordon played better than any other Nugget in Game 2, and while that benefitted those who put him into their DFS lineups, that was not good news for Denver. Stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combined to score 24 points, and Michael Porter Jr. (9/5/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer) shot 1-of-7 from three while committing four turnovers. Gordon was one block shy of a full stat line, and his production was one of the few bright spots on Monday.   • Kyle Anderson records full line in spot start
    Kyle Anderson accounted for six points (3-of-8 FGs), nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 26 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 win over Denver.

    Advice: With Rudy Gobert (personal) back in Minnesota, Anderson was the choice to fill the void in the starting lineup. SloMo was most impactful as a rebounder, with seven of his nine coming on the offensive end of the floor. Given how well the Timberwolves have played, those extra possessions seriously damaged the reigning champions. Add in eight assists and three “stocks,” and Anderson had a solid night at the office.
