Player Notes

  • John Konchar starting for Grizzlies Wednesday
John Konchar still get the start against the Bucks on Wednesday, joining Ja Morant, Ziaire Williams, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Steven Adams in the starting lineup.

Advice: The obvious choice to take Desmond Bane’s (protocols) place would’ve been De’Anthony Melton, but the team will opt to keep him in his usual bench role. Still, neither Melton or Konchar will lack for opportunities with key guys like Bane, Tyus Jones, Kyle Anderson and Dillon Brooks all sidelined, so feel free to fire away on either with Melton being the more proven asset. • Jrue Holiday not starting for Bucks Wednesday
Jrue Holiday is not in the starting lineup for the Bucks on Wednesday but it's still possible he makes his return from a left ankle injury against the Grizzlies.

Advice: George Hill, Grayson Allen, Khris Middleton, Giannis and Bobby Portis are starting tonight, but Holiday is on the active roster. However, that doesn't guarantee he'll play tonight.  NBCSportsEDGE.com 45 minutes ago
  • Aaron Wiggins starting, Bazley back to bench
Aaron Wiggins will re-enter the starting lineup in place of Darius Bazley for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs, joining Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl in the first five.

Advice: Bazley looked pretty awful in his first start in a while on Monday, so a demotion is actually good news for him. Even when starting, Wiggins is still not the best guy to target, and we’d still prefer Bazley of the two despite their roles switching. NBCSportsEDGE.com 56 minutes ago
  • LaMelo Ball back in starting lineup for Hornets
LaMelo Ball (illness) is back in the starting lineup for the Hornets on Wednesday after missing Monday's game.

Advice: That will send Cody Martin back to the bench tonight. LaMelo is joined by Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, Miles Bridges and Mason Plumlee in the starting five tonight. NBCSportsEDGE.com Today, 4:16 pm
  • Jaylen Nowell (ankle) will play Wednesday
Jaylen Nowell (left ankle sprain) will play in Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.

Advice: He’s coming off of a nice second half in a win over the Knicks last night, and he’s been scoring pretty consistently. He’s just a deep-league guy even when he’s good, however. NBCSportsEDGE.com Today, 4:11 pm
