  • Ricky Rubio dishes out 11 assists in road victory
Ricky Rubio shot 3-of-8 from the field in Tuesday's win over the Kings, finishing with six points, four rebounds, 11 assists and one steal in 30 minutes.

Advice: Rubio didn't have a great night shooting the ball, as he missed all three of his attempts from beyond the arc. But he did manage to crack double figures in assists for the first time since March 27. Even with D'Angelo Russell cleared to play, Chris Finch has continued to rely on Rubio as his starter for the time being. That has helped the veteran point guard preserve some value as far as fantasy is concerned, as he sits just outside of the top-100 in both 8- and 9-cat formats. Rubio's value will drop substantially once Russell is moved back into the starting lineup. Yesterday, 10:13 pm
  • Karl-Anthony Towns goes off for 28/18/5 with 4 BLK
Karl-Anthony Towns put up 28 points (9-of-17 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 18 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Kings.

Advice: Towns fell two rebounds shy of what would have been his first 20/20 game since March 23, 2019, when he racked up 33 points and 23 rebounds in a win over the Grizzlies. When healthy KAT has been one of the best players in fantasy basketball, providing top-5 value in 8-cat and top-10 value in 9-cat formats. The words "when healthy" are key, especially when taking into consideration the amount of time that Towns has missed over the last two seasons. After missing a total of five games in his first four seasons, Towns has missed 49 games due to injury over the last two (this doesn't count the two that he recently missed for personal reasons). Minnesota faces Sacramento again Wednesday night, and while Towns looked fine after tweaking his knee in Sunday's loss to the Clippers, this could be a spot where the Timberwolves look to either limit his workload or keep him out completely. • Anthony Edwards scores 28 points with a full line
Anthony Edwards had one of his best all-around games of the season Tuesday, as he accumulated 28 points (11-of-21 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and five 3-pointers in 38 minutes during a win over the Kings.

Advice: Edwards came out hot Tuesday night, making six of his first seven field goal attempts and scoring 15 points. The rookie finished with 28, and he did so shooting better than 50% from the field. Edwards has shot 50% or better from the field in 10 of his 26 games with at least 20 points. Scoring in an efficient manner on a consistent basis will be what takes Edwards' game to the next level, and that would ultimately benefit both the Timberwolves and the fantasy players who have him rostered. • D'Angelo Russell torches SAC for 26 in first half
D'Angelo Russell shot 10-of-13 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Tuesday's win over the Kings, recording a line of 28 points, three rebounds, six assists and six 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Advice: Russell had it rolling during the first half, scoring 26 points in just 15 minutes. He served as more of a facilitator after halftime, with the Kings devoting a little more attention to him defensively. The 26 points are the fourth-most that Russell has scored in a half during his NBA career, and he has accounted for 25 or more in four games this month. While there is still fantasy value to be had, the minutes cap (which is now up to 30) has lowered Russell's ceiling. He has played 25 minutes or more in just three of the nine games that he's appeared in this month. What makes matters even worse for those who have Russell rostered in the fact that this was the first game of a back-to-back. Don't be surprised if he sits out Wednesday's rematch.   Yesterday, 10:08 pm
  • Damian Lillard (hammy) expects to play Wednesday
Damian Lillard expects to play on Wednesday against the Nuggets after missing three games with a hamstring injury.

Advice: This is great news for the Blazers and fantasy managers alike (assuming you have him). The Blazers might have beaten the Clippers tonight with Lillard in uniform and they're hanging onto the No. 6 seed despite Lillard's recent absence. Get him in your lineup. Yesterday, 10:03 pm
