  • Dejounte Murray (calf) 'should be good' to play
Dejounte Murray (strained right calf) "should be good to go" when the Spurs resume play.

Advice: Murray got hurt just before the shutdown in March. The Spurs didn't provide a timetable at the time, but the injury reportedly wasn't viewed as a "long-term" issue. He's had nearly three months to recover and will get even more time before the NBA actually tips off again in Orlando, so he should be fine. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:43 am
  • John Wall (Achilles) doubtful to play this season
John Wall (left Achilles surgery) "almost certainly" won't play if the Wizards resume the 2019-20 season in Orlando.

Advice: Washington is listed as one of the 22 teams expected to resume play, but chasing the No. 8 seed in the East isn't enough incentive for Wall to take the court. Prior to the season, GM Tommy Sheppard directly said, "I don’t ever wanna say, ‘Let’s go get the eighth spot.’ That’s not the big picture at all." Wall hasn't played in 18 months, so it's not a surprise that he'll sit out a handful of games in which the Wizards are likely to be knocked out early. On a positive note, his relationship with Bradley Beal appears rock-solid and they recently arranged a play-date for their kids. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:09 am

  • Report: NBA resumption will leave out eight teams
The NBA's plans to re-start the season would reportedly leave out eight teams: the Hawks, Cavaliers, Pistons, Knicks, Bulls, Hornets, Warriors and Timberwolves.

Advice: The league is expected to approve a plan with 22 teams resuming play. The move is designed to lessen the health risks in Orlando, where play will resume, while avoiding the necessity for players to return after a four-month layoff to play games without a shot at making the postseason. • Cam Reddish wants to be known as a two-way player
Cam Reddish says he wants to be known as one of the best two-way players in the NBA and that he needs to learn to adjust to how long the NBA season is.

Advice: “It’s pretty hectic, and the adjustment was a little crazy,” Reddish said of his rookie season. “But that was one of the biggest things I picked up on, how long the season was. I had to really take care of my body, eat the right things, stuff like that." He also wants to be seen as one of the top players in the league on both ends of the floor. "I definitely want to be known as one of the best two-way players," he said. GM Travis Schlenk has raved about his defense and while he was a bit erratic offensively, he has his entire career to get it worked out. Reddish should be a popular late-round fantasy target next season.   Rotoworld.com Sunday, 3:51 pm

  • Heat guard Gabe Vincent (knee) is 'good to go'
Heat guard Gabe Vincent is reportedly "good to go" despite a knee injury he suffered prior to the NBA shutdown.

Advice: The NBA's player union has discussed allowing players on two-way contracts to be eligible for the postseason, which would directly impact Vincent. Miami's VP and assistant GM, Adam Simon, was the person who said Vincent is "good to go," so presumably he'd be available if the Heat need him. Barring some injuries, though, he's unlikely to crack coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:32 am
