  • REVENGE GAME! Rivers drops in 25 points vs. NYK
Austin Rivers went off against the team that traded him at the deadline on Wednesday, tallying 25 points, three rebounds, three assists, six triples, three steals and one turnover in 28 minutes off the bench.

Advice: Rivers got his points efficiently, finishing 7-of-13 from the floor and 5-of-6 at the line, and he's going to have increased opportunity in Denver while P.J. Dozier (groin) and Monte Morris (hamstring) are watching from the sidelines alongside Jamal Murray (knee). Michael Porter Jr. confirmed after the game that this was indeed a revenge game, saying, "He’s talked to me extensively how difficult it was for him in New York. So he told me coming into tonight how aggressive he was going to be and he was trying to get those dudes back." He got his revenge tonight, but we still wouldn't trust him to be consistent, particularly with Denver's next two matchups coming against Utah and Brooklyn. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm
  • Alec Burks (knee) chucks up seven donuts in loss
Alec Burks (knee) was scoreless in 16 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, finishing with just two rebounds, two assists and one block while missing all seven of his shots.

Advice: Burks is still working on finding his rhythm after a lengthy absence, but while he's playing like this, he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 9:24 pm
  • Terence Davis quietly making noise for Sacto
Terence Davis played 20 minutes and hit 4-of-12 shots and 1-of-8 3-pointers for 10 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in Wednesday's 104-93 win over the Pacers.

Advice: TD is getting some run with several Kings banged up and in street clothes and he's averaging 12.8 points, 4.5 boards, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.3 3-pointers over his last four games.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 9:02 pm
  • Anthony Edwards erupts for 42 points with eight 3s
Anthony Edwards erupted for a career-high-tying 42 points on 17-of-22 shooting Wednesday, adding six rebounds, seven assists, eight triples, one steal, one block and just three turnovers across 38 minutes in a loss to the Grizzlies.

Advice: Not only did Edwards become the first Minnesota rookie in franchise history to record a 30/5/5 line tonight, but he also tied Kevin Love and Stephen Marbury for the single-game, rookie record for 3-pointers in a game. Karl-Anthony Towns also had a solid night with 22 points (7-of-15 FG, 5-of-5 FT), four rebounds, five assists, three triples, one steal and four turnovers in just 24 minutes, but the end result was yet another loss for Minnesota, dropping them to 20-46 on the year. • D'Angelo Russell posts 22/14 double-double
D'Angelo Russell posted a 22-point, 14-assist double-double in his return to the starting lineup on Wednesday.

Advice: D'Lo finished 6-of-13 from the floor and 8-of-8 at the stripe, and he added four rebounds, one steal, two triples and an unfortunate five turnovers in his 37 minutes of floor time. Chris Finch said before the game that he wanted to get Russell in the starting lineup for Minnesota's final seven games to develop some better chemistry with Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards, so it doesn't sound like he's in any danger of Ricky Rubio taking his job again. Particularly considering that Rubio finished tonight's game with just two points, four rebounds, four assists and one turnover in 17 minutes off the bench. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 8:50 pm
