  • Dewayne Dedmon (illness) not on injury report
Dewayne Dedmon (illness) is not being listed on the injury report for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Grizzlies.

Advice: Dedmon sat out Saturday's Game 4 loss with a minor illness, but ever indication is that he'll be back in action on Tuesday night. David Lee might not play as much with Dedmon back in the fold. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:27 pm
  • Riley has lofty expectations for Whiteside
Pat Riley has lofty expectations for Hassan Whiteside's future.

Advice: "Erik [Spoelstra] and I, we discuss a lot of things about Hassan and how he can better help us," Riley said. "Can he be a 17 [points], 14 [rebounds] and 4 [blocks] guy and shoot 61 percent and 70 percent from the line, which is what I think he is right about now? Or can he be a 25 [points] and 17 [rebounds] and six [blocks] player? I think he can be that, but you have to carve out something more for him offensively." In case it's not obvious, Riley thinks very highly of his franchise center and Spoelstra added that the Heat don't want to put a ceiling on the 27-year-old center's potential. • Kristaps Porzingis wants to remain in NY
Kristaps Porzingis vaguely hinted that he could eventually leave the Knicks if the team isn't performing.

Advice: "Absolutely, I want to stay here all my career,’’ Porzingis said. "But the thing I want most of all is winning. When the time comes, I will seriously start to think about it. Right now I just try to do my best." Porzingis will become a restricted free agent in 2018, so Knicks fans will be hoping for a quick turnaround so they can keep their franchise big man in town. Porzingis also announced that he will play for Latvia at Eurobasket this summer, so that's an indication that he's healthy after missing the final five games of the season with a back issue. • Rudy Gobert (knee) double-doubles in return
Rudy Gobert (knee) didn't miss a shot during his return on Sunday, going 6-of-6 from the field for 15 points, 13 rebounds, two blocks and one assist as the Jazz defeated the visiting Clippers in Game 4.

Advice: Gobert made a surprisingly quick return from a hyperextension and bone bruise in his left knee, running and jumping without any apparent limitations. Quin Snyder said before the game that Gobert's minutes would be dictated by fatigue, but he was almost certainly on a 24-minute limit since he sat out down the stretch of a tight playoff game. Hopefully his minutes will increase during a crucial game in L.A. on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:29 pm
  • Derrick Favors thrives off bench in Game 4
Derrick Favors shifted to the bench with Rudy Gobert (knee) active on Sunday, posting 17 points on 7-of-10 FGs and 3-of-6 FTs, with six rebounds, two steals, one assist and zero turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: Favors averaged 34.3 minutes in the first three games of the series out of necessity, but that workload clearly took a toll on him. His scoring declined in each game and he simply didn't have it in Game 3 on Friday, scoring two points in 38 minutes of action. He looked rejuvenated tonight, expending more energy in fewer minutes, which is the best-case scenario for Utah's frontcourt. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:18 pm
