    Porter posted seven points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt), nine rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Porter went just 1-for-6 from the three-point line, continuing a rough series for the sharpshooter. Over the seven-game span, Porter scored fewer than 10 points on five occasions. It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season.   • Aaron Gordon struggles in Game 7 loss to Minnesota
    Aaron Gordon shot 2-of-5 from the field in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves, accumulating four points, four rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot in 42 minutes.

    Advice: A standout for most of this series, Gordon picked a terrible time to struggle. He didn’t offer much value in Game 7, with Denver’s “supporting cast” being outplayed by Minnesota after leading by 20 in the second half. Game 7 was the first Gordon failed to reach double figures since Game 1 when he tallied nine in another defeat. As for his season overall, AG finished the regular season ranked just inside the top 150 in 9-cat, per-game value. That wasn’t on par with his Yahoo ADP (118.4), but the late-round production is unsurprising. Fantasy managers should expect similar value from Gordon in 2024-25. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:23 pm
  • Pours in 22 points Saturday
    Jones totaled 22 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 40 minutes during Saturday's 117-116 victory over Oklahoma City in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Jones scored at least 17 points for the third straight game, playing a season-high 40 minutes as the Mavericks took care of business in front of their home fans. Jones' offensive output has been a blessing for the Mavericks, providing them with another viable scoring threat alongside Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. Coming up against either the Nuggets or the Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals is a daunting task. If Dallas is to pose a serious threat, Jones may need to maintain his offensive momentum.     Williams provided two points (1-1 FG) and one rebound across three minutes during Saturday's 117-116 loss to the Mavericks in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Williams played for just the second time in the past five games, logging four minutes as Luguentz Dort was benched due to foul trouble. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, Williams is nothing more than a depth piece for a Thunder team with high aspirations heading into next season.     Giddey closed Saturday's 117-116 loss to Dallas in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals with two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes.

    Advice: Giddey played just 10 minutes in the loss, ending what has been a disappointing season for the young Australian. Having started the majority of the season, he was moved to the bench in recent games. In fact, he played fewer than 15 minutes in five straight contests to end the campaign, placing some doubt over what his role could look like in 2024-25. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:58 pm

  • Jalen Williams posts 22/9/8/2/1 line on Saturday
    Jalen Williams accumulated 22 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Mavericks.

    Advice: Oklahoma City’s season ended on Saturday, as they were on the wrong end of a one-point loss in Game 6. Williams had a productive night, shooting 50% from the field and scoring 22 points with a full stat line. However, his overall efficiency as a scorer took a hit compared to how he played in Oklahoma City’s first-round sweep of New Orleans. JDub shot 42.9% from the field against Dallas after making nearly 53% of his attempts against the Pelicans. Overall, this season was very good for Williams, who provided top 50 per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats. After beginning this season with a Yahoo ADP of 65.7, JDub should be a 4th-round player at worst in drafts this fall. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:34 pm

  • Chet Holmgren records 21/3/1/2 line in Game 6 loss
    Chet Holmgren finished Saturday’s Game 6 loss to the Mavericks with 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

    Advice: Despite scoring 21 points, Holmgren’s final game of the season wasn’t his best. More concerning than the 1-of-7 night from three was the rebounding, with the rookie only grabbing three. By comparison, Mavericks rookie Dereck Lively II grabbed 15 by himself. Holmgren’s struggles to rebound prompted Thunder coach Mark Daigneault to go with a bigger lineup down the stretch, with Jaylin Williams (6/2/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer in 18 minutes) joining the rookie in the frontcourt. Overall, Holmgren had an excellent rookie campaign, finishing second to Victor Wembanyama in Rookie of the Year voting and providing top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. Based on his Yahoo ADP, Chet was expected by many to be a 4th-round player. Those days are over; he should not get out of the third round in standard league drafts, and that’s being conservative.   • PJ Washington sinks series-winning free throws
    PJ Washington shot 2-of-6 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over Oklahoma City, scoring nine points with five rebounds, two assists, and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

    Advice: Scoring-wise, Game 6 was Washington’s worst of the series. However, more will remember the two free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining that clinched the game (and the series) for Dallas. Washington had a good series overall, scoring 21 points or more in Games 2 through 4 and recording three double-doubles. Next will be another difficult matchup, with the Mavericks facing the Nuggets or Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:11 pm
