  • Karl-Anthony Towns records double-double in 24 min
Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double on Friday with 18 points (7-of-16 FGs), 13 rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers against the Suns in Game 3.

Advice: KAT dealt with some foul trouble early in this game, which limited him to just 24 minutes of playing time. However, he was still able to turn in an effective stat line. He has committed 12 fouls in three games despite averaging just 25 minutes per game. They’re still monitoring his minutes after his extended absence, but he should play more if he stays out of foul trouble. It hasn’t hurt them yet, but it isn’t something that he can continue to do in the next round, where they’ll likely face off against Denver, barring the first ever 3-0 comeback in NBA history. • Ejected in Game 3 win
Washington chipped in 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 34 minutes before getting ejected from Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Washington was ejected following a scuffle with Russell Westbrook, much to the delight of the home fans. While losing a player is never a good thing, his energy and willingness to not back down proved a hit with the Dallas faithful. Before his premature exit, Washington managed to put together another strong performance. He will look to maintain that energy heading into Game 4 on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 pm
  • Flirts with double-double
Zubac chipped in 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Zubac turned in a strong effort Friday, flirting with a double-double. He added a pair of defensive stats for good measure, delivering his best performance of the postseason. Now trailing 1-2 in the series, the Clippers are going to need Zubac to be more consistent moving forward, something he has struggled with this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 pm
  • Dereck Lively II chips in 13 points off bench
Dereck Lively II provided a boost off the bench with 13 points (6-of-8 FGs), two rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes against the Clippers in Game 3 on Friday.

Advice: Lively only played nine minutes in Game 2 and ended up missing practice on Thursday because of some soreness in his lower back. However, he was able to play in Game 3, and he was able to make an impact off the bench. He scored all 13 of his points in the first half, which included five dunks. This was a solid game for the rookie, but Dallas will likely continue to lean on Daniel Gafford for most the center minutes. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:17 pm
  • Myles Turner drops playoff career-high 29 in win
Myles Turner led Indiana with 29 points (10-of-21 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in Game 3 against the Bucks on Friday.

Advice: Turner had a big game on Friday and ended up setting a new playoff career-high for points. He had a tough Game 1, but he has been very effective in Games 2 and 3, both of which have been wins. His big performance helped the Pacers take a 2-1 lead in the series, and they’ll need another big game out of him on Sunday in order to take a 3-1 lead in the series and maintain homecourt advantage. • Bobby Portis records 17/18 double-double in Game 3
Bobby Portis recorded a double-double on Friday with 17 points (7-of-15 FGs), 18 rebounds, one steal, one block and one triple against Indiana.

Advice: Portis, who was a finalist for the league’s Sixth Man of the Year award, has played really well as the starting power forward in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo, and that continued in this game. He has recorded a double-double in all three games of this series, but this was by far his best outing. Giannis isn’t expected to play in this series, so Portis should continue to start. They’ll need him to continue to play to this level if they want to tie this series back up in Game 4 on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:01 pm
  • Anthony Davis (wrist) questionable for Saturday
Anthony Davis (left wrist sprain) is questionable to play against the Nuggets in Game 4 on Saturday.

Advice: This could be the last game of their season. Davis isn’t going to miss this one, no matter how bad he’s hurting. He’ll play a ton of minutes as they look to keep their season alive. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:19 pm
  • Upgraded to questionable
Wood (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against Denver, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Wood has been sidelined since Feb. 14, but he's been trending towards a return for a while. It sounds like if he makes it through the shootaround without any setbacks, he could get the green light to return with Los Angeles' season on the line. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:17 pm
  • Daniel Gafford (back) active Friday vs. Clippers
Daniel Gafford (lower back soreness) has been upgraded from questionable to active for Friday’s Game 3 matchup between the Mavericks and Clippers.

Advice: Gafford is good to go despite missing Thursday’s practice. The Mavericks big man has struggled to produce against the Clippers so far and could take a back seat to Dereck Lively and Maxi Kleber if he struggles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:01 pm
