  • Struggles from field in Game 4
    Williams totaled 14 points (5-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and four steals across 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 win over the Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Williams didn't have his best shooting performance, and his numbers regressed a bit compared to what he'd been doing in the previous contests, but his role as the Thunder's second-best offensive weapon is firmly established ahead of Chet Holmgren, which should give him an excellent floor in most DFS slates.   • Shines in Game 4 victory
    Gilgeous-Alexander totaled 34 points (14-27 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals in 42 minutes during Monday's 100-96 victory over the Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Despite dealing with one of the best backcourt combos in the NBA in Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, Gilgeous-Alexander continues to deliver outstanding numbers every time he steps on the hardwood. He surpassed the 30-point threshold in just one of the four games in the opening-round series against the Pelicans, but he's been asked to do more this time around, and he's now on a run of three straight outings with 30-plus points. He's averaging 31.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game in the series against Dallas, with Game 5 scheduled for Wednesday at Paycom Center. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:04 am
  • Josh Giddey logs 12 minutes in Game 4 victory
    Josh Giddey only logged 12 minutes on Monday and finished with five points (2-of-8 FGs), two assists, one steal, one block and one triple against Dallas.

    Advice: Giddey played well over the final three games of their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but he hasn’t been able to replicate that success against Dallas. He has been a liability on both ends of the floor, which has resulted in him playing just 13.3 minutes per game through the first four games. Mark Daigneault hasn’t moved him to a reserve role yet, but he has basically been splitting minutes with Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace. Joe ended up starting the second half in place of Giddey in this one. Don’t expect Daigneault to make a starting lineup change now, but all four players should continue to see minutes in the low teens, with the hot hand seeing a larger role. Rotoworld Monday, 9:42 pm

  • Darius Garland drops 30 in Game 4 loss to Boston
    Darius Garland led Cleveland with 30 points (12-of-27 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four triples in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday.

    Advice: Cleveland had to play this game without Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a calf injury. That meant that Garland was going to be asked to do a lot more, and he rose to the occasion. It wasn’t enough for them to get the win, but he had by far his best game of this postseason. If Mitchell remains sidelined for Game 5 on Wednesday, Garland will once again have to orchestrate Cleveland’s offense like he did in this game. This has been a disappointing playoff run for Garland, but this was an encouraging performance that showed that he can still shine when he needs to. Rotoworld Monday, 7:24 pm

    Advice: Strus led all players in Monday's contest in threes made while ending as one of four Cavaliers with double-digit scoring and handing out a team-high-tying assist total along with a pair of steals.     Holiday produced 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals over 43 minutes during Monday's 109-102 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Holiday led all Celtics in Game 4 in threes made while ending as one of three players with 15 or more points to go along with a team-high-tying handful of assists and a team-best trio of steals in a winning effort. Holiday connected on at least four threes for the first time this postseason, and he has now tallied at least 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists in two straight contests for Boston.   • Jaylen Brown puts up 27 points, Boston goes up 3-1
    Jaylen Brown lit up the Cavaliers with 27 points (9-of-15 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, two triples and five turnovers on Monday.

    Advice: Aside from a “subpar” performance in their Game 2 loss, Brown has been fantastic this series. He has now scored at least 25 points in five games this postseason, three of which have been in this series. The Jays have been unstoppable, and there’s no reason to think that they won’t stay hot in Game 5 with the series shifting back to Boston. Securing this win will give them a chance to close out the series at home on Wednesday and make a return to the conference finals for the third straight year and the fourth time in the last five years.     Brown totaled zero points (0-2 FG), two rebounds and one block in 10 minutes during Sunday's 121-89 victory over the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Brown and several fellow second-stringers saw an uptick in playing time Sunday, with Brown seeing his first action in this series. The Pacers took control early and never relinquished, leveling the series at 2-2. Game 5 is in New York on Tuesday, where both teams will look to gain the upper hand. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:57 am

    Advice: Jeffries made a rare appearance Sunday as the Knicks went deep into their rotation. The Pacers dominated from start to finish, meaning even Tom Thibodeau couldn't justify playing his starters big minutes.
