Having played a total of just 19 minutes in the series, it's safe to say that McDermott is not going to play a role in determining the outcome of what has been a fantastic series between two bitter rivals.     Nembhard finished with 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and one block over 38 minutes during Friday's 116-103 win over New York in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Nembhard put together arguably his best performance of the postseason, especially when it comes to his efforts on the defensive end. Having been worked over by Jalen Brunson in the past couple of games, Nembhard appeared as though he was focused on making amends for his recent shortcomings. Although Brunson ended with a game-high 31 points, many of those came with the game already in the bag for Indiana. If they are to walk out of Madison Square Garden with a victory Sunday, Nembhard is going to have to once again be more than a traffic cone on defense. Rotowire.com Today, 3:52 am

He continues to be an underrated piece for Indiana, continuing what has been arguably his best season as a professional. Despite typically playing no more than 20 minutes, McConnell has scored in double digits in five of his past seven games while handing out a combined 45 assists during that period.     Advice: Sims played four minutes of garbage time as the Knicks were soundly beaten by the Pacers. Though he is known for playing his stars heavy minutes, even in losses, common sense prevailed with Tom Thibodeau closing with his second unit. Despite another ankle injury to Mitchell Robinson, Sims has been unable to carve out a consistent role, something that doesn't bode well for his future when looking beyond this season.     Miles McBride shot 8-of-12 from the field in Friday’s loss to the Pacers, amassing 20 points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

    Advice: Making his second straight start, Deuce shot the ball well in Game 6. It may have mattered more had Jalen Brunson not going 2-of-13 from the field in the first half, and Josh Hart was limited with an abdominal injury. McBride wasn’t as impactful as in Game 5, but the Knicks should be encouraged by his offensive output in Friday’s defeat. They’ll need a similar effort from Deuce in Game 7 on Sunday afternoon.   • T.J. McConnell scores 15 points in 16 minutes
    T.J. McConnell finished Friday’s 116-103 win over the Knicks with 15 points (7-of-13 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 16 minutes.

    Advice: McConnell may have only played 16 minutes in Game 6, but that was all the time he needed to impact the action. In addition to scoring repeatedly around the basket, the veteran point guard was a defensive pest. McConnell and Obi Toppin have impacted this series, with the former offering more consistent production. Toppin also played well in Game 6, finishing with 11 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes.     Advice: Dort didn't have his best shooting performance and was particularly woeful from three-point range, but he still delivered decent fantasy value due to his ability to fill the stat sheet. Dort will need to be better Saturday, as the Thunder will try to avoid elimination in a pivotal Game 6 in Dallas, but the odds are against him.
