Jokic struggled a bit from the field but still finished north of 30 points for the third time this postseason and concluded one assist and two boards shy of a triple-double. Jokic has a tough matchup against Minnesota's big men, so it will be key to keep an eye on how he is able to perform against a strong defense in the semifinals.       Advice: Murray balled out in the first round against the Lakers, averaging 23.6 points, 4.6 boards, 7.2 dimes, 1.0 blocks and 2.0 triples and nailing two game-winners in the process. Murray was held scoreless in the first half, and he was far from that level of effectiveness against Minnesota. He’s delivered some monumental games in the playoffs over the last two seasons, so we’ll chalk this one up to an off night.       Nikola Jokic finished Saturday’s loss to Minnesota with 32 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, three steals and two three-pointers across 41 minutes.

      Advice: Joker led his team in points, rebounds, assists and steals, but this game was far from blemish-free. The rest of his team combined for five turnovers, and Jokic committed seven, tied for his second-most in a playoff game. He was just 2-of-9 from beyond the arc and shot 11-of-25 from the field overall, highlighting an inefficient and turnover-riddled evening as Denver lost at home for the first time since March 29.       Daniel Gafford shot 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Friday’s win over the Clippers, amassing 13 points and six rebounds in 22 minutes.

      Advice: Gafford may not record gaudy stat lines, but his addition to the roster has been huge for the Mavericks. Between him and first-round pick Dereck Lively II, Dallas receives what would pass as quality production from the center position. Lively also scored in double figures in the series clincher, tallying 10 points with nine rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench. Gafford and Lively will be critical moving forward, as Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren represents a far different challenge than Ivica Zubac. Oklahoma City will host Game 1 on Tuesday night.
