    • Suspended four games
The NBA announced Thursday that Beverley has been suspended four games "for forcefully throwing a basketball multiple tames at spectators and an inappropriate interaction with a reporter during media availability" after Milwaukee's Game 6 loss to the Pacers.

Advice: The Bucks' Game 6 loss to Indiana in the first round eliminated them from the playoffs. Therefore, Beverley's suspension will be served in the first four games of the 2024-25 season. Beverley is an unrestricted free agent going into this offseason, so it is unclear which team he will be on when serving his suspension. Rotowire.com Today, 11:10 am
    • Patrick Beverley suspended four games for incident
Patrick Beverley has been issued a four-game suspension ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Advice: The Bucks guard is being punished after throwing a ball at spectators multiple times during his team’s latest loss to the Pacers. He’s entering unrestricted free agency and will be forced to sit for the first four games of 2024-25. Rotoworld Today, 11:08 am
    • Passive performance Wednesday
McBride amassed four points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one assist across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 130-121 victory over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: McBride managed just four points in the win, struggling to find any real rhythm on the offensive end. Although his role has been somewhat limited to this point, OG Anunoby (hamstring) going down could open up an interesting opportunity. Should Anunoby be forced to miss time, look for McBride to potentially slide into the starting lineup for Game 3. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:47 pm
    • Cracks rotation Wednesday
Burks closed Wednesday's 130-121 victory over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with zero points (0-1 FG) in one minute.

Advice: Burks dusted himself off Wednesday, leaving the bench for the first time this postseason. Jalen Brunson was forced to the locker room during the second quarter, affording one minute of playing time to Burks. Given Brunson was able to return to the game, it is unlikely we see Burks again anytime soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:44 pm
    • T.J. McConnell tallies 10 points, 12 assists
T.J. McConnell played 23 minutes in Wednesday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks, scoring 10 points (5-of-9 FGs) with four rebounds and 12 assists.

Advice: McConnell has played well in the first two games of this series, but that hasn’t been enough to convince Pacers coach Rick Carlisle to leave him on the court in crunch time. While the veteran point guard did the best job of making Jalen Brunson work for his scoring opportunities, starter Andrew Nembhard closed the game. While Nembhard (15 points, four assists, and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes) is more of a threat offensively, he has not been as effective defending Brunson in crunch time. While their places in the rotation may not change for Game 3 on Friday, don’t be surprised if McConnell’s minutes increase, as the Pacers can’t afford to fall into a 0-3 hole. • Won't play in Game 2
Jerome (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 2 versus the Celtics on Thursday.

Advice: Jerome has not logged a single minute this postseason as he continues to recover from ankle surgery, and there aren't any indications that that'll change anytime soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:37 pm
    • Ruled out for Game 2
Porter (ankle) will remain out for Game 2 against the Celtics on Thursday.

Advice: Porter has yet to suit up for any of the Cavaliers' playoff games thus far, but even if he were active, he wouldn't be included in the rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:36 pm
    • Payton Pritchard chips in 16 points off bench
Payton Pritchard provided a boost off the bench with 16 points (5-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against Cleveland on Tuesday.

Advice: Pritchard played a decent-sized role off the bench in the first round, but he didn’t make a significant impact like he did in this game. However, he kicked off this series with a solid performance as a reserve, and he wasn’t the only one. Luke Kornet, who has filled in as the backup center behind Al Horford, collected 10 rebounds and two blocks. Pritchard and Kornet should both continue to play important roles off the bench, but it is unlikely that either contributes in the box score to the level that they did in this game. • Reggie Jackson (calf) exits during fourth quarter
Reggie Jackson (left calf tightness) tallied three points (1-of-6 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, and one 3-pointer in 10 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 loss to Minnesota.

Advice: Already dealing with a sore left ankle, Jackson hobbled off the court during the fourth quarter with tightness in his left calf. While Denver announced that he was questionable to return, the veteran point guard remained in the locker room. The only production Denver received from its bench in Game 2 was from Justin Holiday, who shot 4-of-5 from three and finished with 13 points, two rebounds, and one assist. With Jackson and Murray dealing with calf issues, the Nuggets have two point guards not playing at full strength. Game 3 being on Friday could help matters, but the biggest problem has been the talented Timberwolves. Rotoworld Monday, 10:13 pm
