    • Donovan Mitchell held scoreless in second half
Donovan Mitchell struggled in the second half but still finished with 18 points (5-of-14 FGs), one rebound, six assists, three steals, one triple and six turnovers against Orlando in Game 4 on Saturday.

Advice: Things were going well for the Cavs in the first half. They led by nine points at halftime and scored 37 points in the second quarter. Mitchell entered the break with 18. However, the proceeded to score 20 points over the next 18 minutes and only 29 total in the second half, with Mitchell unable to add in any more buckets. Orlando took over the second half to tie the series 2-2, with Game 5 coming on Tuesday in Cleveland. Mitchell will have to shake off this second half and get back on track to get back in the win column. Rotoworld Today, 12:33 pm
    • Goes cold in Game 3 loss
Mitchell registered 13 points (6-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and seven assists over 27 minutes during Thursday's 121-83 loss to Orlando in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Mitchell had scored a combined 53 points during the first two games of the series, but he was unable to keep that momentum going in Game 3. However, no Cleveland player scored more than 15 points, and Mitchell didn't see the court during most of the second half. The star guard will aim to bounce back in Game 4 of the series Saturday. • Donovan Mitchell limited to 13 points on Thursday
Donovan Mitchell shot 6-of-16 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Magic, accounting for 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

Advice: Dominant in the first two games of the series, Mitchell was held in check in Game 3. While he did lead the Cavaliers in assists, only Caris LeVert (15/2/3/0/1 with one 3-pointer) had a worse plus/minus than Spida, who finished at a minus-25. Mitchell largely carried Cleveland’s backcourt in the first two games, but his off night was problematic, with Darius Garland continuing to struggle. Garland shot 2-of-9 from the field in Game 3, finishing with five points, three rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer. Game 4 is on Saturday, with Cleveland holding a 2-1 lead. • Top scorer in Game 2 victory
Mitchell tallied 23 points (9-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Mitchell once again led Cleveland offensively in another victory in the opening-round series, finishing with a game-high scoring total while handing out a team-high-tying quartet of assists and ending two boards shy of a double-double. The Cavaliers will continue to ride Mitchell's offensive firepower in the postseason, with Mitchell posting at least 23 points in both games of the first round thus far. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:59 pm
    • Donovan Mitchell scores game-high 23 in Game 2 win
Donovan Mitchell shot 9-of-22 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Monday’s 96-86 win over Orlando, scoring 23 points with eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Mitchell’s overall field-goal percentage wasn’t good in Game 2, as Orlando had some success when it managed to keep him from getting the basket. Spida shot 2-of-10 from beyond the arc, but a 7-of-12 night from two made up for that deficiency. Orlando’s issue in Cleveland wasn’t defending so much as the team’s lack of consistent perimeter shooters. Mitchell and the Cavaliers will face a stiffer challenge in Game 3 when the series moves to Orlando, but this appears to be a bad matchup for the Magic. Rotoworld Monday, 6:43 pm
    • Leads Cavs to Game 1 victory
Mitchell posted 30 points (11-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Saturday's 97-83 win over the Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: The Cavaliers delivered a strong showing on both ends of the court Saturday and had several standout performers, but Mitchell made his presence felt in the scoring column with a game-high 30 points. Mitchell also surpassed the 30-point mark in his last regular-season appearance, and he'll aim to deliver another strong performance in Game 2 of the series Monday. After all, the Cavaliers will only go as far as Mitchell can carry them. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:12 pm
    • Donovan Mitchell scores 30 points in Game 1 win
Donovan Mitchell shot 11-of-21 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s 97-83 win over Orlando, scoring 30 points with two rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Making their first playoff appearance in four years, the Magic had no answer for Mitchell in Saturday’s series opener. Counting this performance, he has opened his last four playoff series by scoring 30 points or more. Mitchell was a handful for the Magic in the three regular-season meetings, averaging 27.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game while shooting 44.3% from the field and 81.8% from the foul line. Cleveland will look to take a 2-0 series lead on Monday. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:53 pm
    • Donovan Mitchell (knee) active Saturday vs. Magic
Alex Caruso (left knee injury management) is listed as active for the Cavaliers’ Saturday matchup with the magic.

Advice: Mitchell sat with his backcourt partner Darius Garland in Cleveland’s regular-season finally, but the duo will be back in business against Orlando on Saturday. The Cavaliers guards should handle a full workload in Game 1. Rotoworld Friday, 1:31 pm
    • Good to go
Mitchell (knee) isn't listed on the Cavaliers' injury report for Game 1 of the first-round series against Orlando on Saturday.

Advice: Mitchell missed the regular-season finale to rest a lingering knee injury but should be full go during the postseason. Over his last six appearances, Mitchell has averaged 20.2 points, 6.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 35.2 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:35 pm
