      Royce O’Neale got the start on Friday and finished with zero points (0-of-5 FGs), five rebounds and two assists against Minnesota.

      Advice: O’Neale moved into the starting unit in place of Grayson Allen, who was sidelined with an ankle injury. However, it wasn’t a good performance for O’Neale, and he wrapped up his scoreless night with an airball with less than a minute left. If Allen remains sidelined for Game 4 on Sunday, O’Neale may get another start, but they’ll need a lot more out of him if they want to extend the series.       Paul George dealt with foul trouble on Friday and only contributed seven points (3-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, five assists and one triple in 30 minutes against Dallas in Game 3.

      Advice: George was only able to play 11 minutes in the first half of this game because of some early foul trouble. He was better at staying on the floor in the second half, but he still had a poor performance after scoring 22 points in each of their first two games. PG now has committed 14 fouls through the first three games of this series, though it only limited his minutes in this one.       George racked up seven points (3-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists across 30 minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: George was non-existent in the loss, putting up his worst performance in quite some time. The Clippers managed to hang around but were never really in the contest.       Stephen Curry won the Kia NBA Clutch Player of the Year award on Thursday.

      Advice: Curry beat out DeMar DeRozan and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, receiving 45 first-place votes to DeRozan’s 34. Those two were separated by 26 total points, with SGA coming in third with 160 points (11 first-place votes). Curry led the NBA in crunch time points (189), made field goals (59), and made 3-pointers (32). “Crunch time” is defined as the final five minutes of a game within five points.
