    • Eric Gordon chips in 11/2/3/3/1 line off bench
Eric Gordon provided a boost off the bench with 11 points (2-of-7 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and two triples against the Timberwolves on Friday.

Advice: With Grayson Allen sidelined with an ankle injury, Gordon took on a larger role off the bench and ended up providing them with a nice scoring boost. He also gave them some defensive production, which isn’t characteristic for Gordon. If Allen is back on Sunday for Game 4, EG will lose out on minutes. He averaged 22 minutes across the first two games, but he had to play 34 minutes in Game 3. However, if Allen remains out, Gordon will be asked to take on more minutes once again. • Listed as probable for Game 4
James (ankle) is probable for Saturday's Game 4 versus Denver, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: James carrying probable tags due to left ankle soreness is par for the course. Fantasy managers should expect him to suit up with Los Angeles' season on the line, as the Lakers are winless through three games in the series. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:20 pm

    • LeBron James (ankle) probable to play in Game 4
LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) is listed as probable to play in Game 4 against Denver on Saturday.

Advice: LeBron continues to find himself on the injury report, but there is no way that he is missing a potential elimination game. He’ll play as many minutes as he needs to in order to keep the series going. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:15 pm

    • Puts up 22 points in Game 3 loss
Reaves ended with 22 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and four steals across 41 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Reaves had two subpar showings in the first two games of the series, and even though he bounced back in Game 3, his efforts were not enough to lift the Lakers to victory. Reaves will aim to replicate these numbers in Game 4 on Saturday, as the Lakers need to win to avoid a first-round exit. Reaves is averaging 14.7 points per game in the series while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from deep. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:18 am

    • Scores 26 in Game 3 defeat
James produced 26 points (12-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 42 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: James had another strong showing, but as has been the trend throughout the series, the Lakers couldn't maintain their lead and ended up losing, falling into an 0-3 deficit. James has done everything in his power to counter Denver, reaching the 25-point mark in all three of his appearances in the series while averaging 26.3 points, 9.7 assists and 6.7 rebounds across 40.3 minutes per contest. • Austin Reaves records 22 points, four steals
Austin Reaves accumulated 22 points (8-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Nuggets.

Advice: Reaves was one of three Lakers starters to score at least 22 points, but that wasn’t enough to avoid an 11th straight loss to the Nuggets. D’Angelo Russell going scoreless and Rui Hachimura finishing with five points certainly didn’t help matters for the Lakers, who need a win on Saturday to extend their season. Reaves matched his point total from the first two games in Game 3 while accumulating four steals. That’s positive momentum he can take into Game 4; whether or not it matters is another conversation, given Denver’s mastery of the Lakers. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:28 pm

    • LeBron James tallies 26 points, nine assists
LeBron James finished Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Nuggets with 26 points (12-of-20 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, nine assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 42 minutes.

Advice: After shooting 6-of-11 from three in Denver, LeBron’s jumper betrayed him in Game 3. He finished Game 3 shooting 60% from the field overall but just 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. The Lakers have lost their last 11 games against the Nuggets, and James was on the court for ten. He’s had a good statistical series through three games, but it hasn’t mattered, as Denver has the Lakers’ number. Look for LeBron to log heavy minutes in Game 4 on Saturday, as the Lakers need a win to keep their season alive. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:18 pm

    • Available to play
James (ankle) is available to play in Thursday's Game 3 versus the Nuggets, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Advice: As is usually the case, James was carrying a probable tag prior to this update due to lingering left ankle soreness. James is not expected to have any restrictions as the Lakers attempt to pick up their first win of the series. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:32 pm

    • LeBron James, Anthony Davis available for Game 3
LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) and Anthony Davis (low back soreness) are available for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.

Advice: It’s no surprise that James and Davis are available, as they were probable on the initial injury report. They’ll take on their usual responsibilities, with the latter possibly being more of a focal point offensively after attempting just one shot in the fourth quarter of Game 2.
