Edwards, who scored 16 points in the first quarter alone and capped the game with 12 points in the final quarter, became the first Timberwolves player to post two consecutive 40-point playoff games.     Mike Conley shot 5-of-8 from the field and finished Sunday’s win over Denver with 14 points, 10 dimes, four boards, a steal and three triples across 31 minutes.

    Advice: After a disappointing Game 1 against the Suns, Conley provided solid play over the final three games of the first-round sweep. The veteran point guard isn’t going to dazzle with scoring, but he’s an efficient shooter who knows how to pick his spots, knock down triples when needed and get teammates involved. Conley dished 10 assists in six regular-season games, and Minnesota won all of them, so it’s no surprise the Wolves were able to extend that streak on Saturday.     Anthony Edwards delivered 43 points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal, two blocks and three triples across 42 minutes in Saturday’s victory over the Nuggets.

    Advice: Edwards capped off a tremendous first-round sweep of the Suns with 40 points in the closeout Game 4, and he kept the momentum rolling into Game 1 of the Western Conference semis. Ant-Man shot an efficient 17-of-29 from the floor and was everywhere on both sides of the ball. He came up with key play after key play, particularly in the closing minutes when Denver attempted a late comeback after falling behind by double digits. Edwards’ big night on offense broke a tie with Sam Cassell for most 40-point playoff games in Timberwolves history, and the budding superstar has three such contests to his credit.     Kristaps Porzingis (right soleus strain) said on Saturday that he’s “slowly making progress” in his recovery and hopes to return to game action as soon as possible.

    Advice: Porzingis injured his calf during Boston’s Game 4 win over Miami, a series the Celtics won in five games. He does not have a concrete timeline for return, with it being reported on May 1 by TNT’s Chris Haynes that the 7-foot-3 big is unlikely to play in the second round. Boston still awaits its opponent, as Cleveland hosts Orlando in Game 7 on Sunday.     Advice: Gary Harris missed Game 6 due to injury, which led to Isaac moving into the starting lineup. With this setup, Orlando became the first time in NBA playoff history to start four players listed at 6-foot-10 or taller (Isaac, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Wendell Carter Jr.). While the former lottery pick failed to score, he did tie for the team lead in rebounds in just 23 minutes of action.     Porzingis (calf) will likely remain sidelined for the Celtics' second-round series in the Eastern Conference playoffs, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

    Advice: Porzingis sustained a calf injury in Game 4 of Boston's first-round series and was unavailable for Wednesday's Game 5 as the Celtics took down the Heat to advance to the second round. He's been diagnosed with a right soleus strain and was expected to miss several games, and it appears likely that his absence will span the entirety of the second round. However, the Celtics hope that Porzingis will be able to return if the team advances to the Eastern Conference Finals, and the 28-year-old will rest and rehab in the coming days.
