    DiVincenzo racked up 23 points (8-18 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and two steals across 48 minutes during Thursday's 118-115 victory over Philadelphia in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Jalen Brunson carried the Knicks to victory in this series-clinching win, but DiVincenzo deserves credit for stepping up when the team needed him the most. He was coming off a few subpar performances, as he had shot 8-for-28 from the field in the previous three games of the series, but he reached the 20-point mark for the first time in the current playoff run while also filling out the stat sheet as he normally does. The Knicks need DiVincenzo at his best if they also want to get past the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.     Brunson registered 41 points (13-27 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 12-16 FT), three rebounds and 12 assists over 44 minutes during Thursday's 118-115 win over the 76ers in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Brunson made history with his performance in this Game 6 win, becoming the fourth player in NBA history to record 39 or more points in four consecutive playoff appearances, which Michael Jordan last achieved during the 1992-93 season. Brunson averaged 35.5 points, 9.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game in the first-round series and should play a prominent role as the Knicks take on the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.   • Donte DiVincenzo bounces back, scores 23 points
    Donte DiVincenzo played all 48 minutes in Thursday’s Game 6 victory over the 76ers, finishing with 23 points (8-of-18 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, three blocks, and five 3-pointers.

    Advice: Having struggled for most of the series, DiVincenzo saved his best for last as the Knicks advanced to the second round in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2000. He hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter, and the 23 points were one more than the Big Ragu’s total in Games 3 through 5. Miles McBride, who took some of DiVincenzo’s minutes during that three-game dry spell, only played nine minutes in Game 6 and finished with three points (1-of-4 3-pointers).     Jalen Brunson shot 13-of-27 from the field and 12-of-16 from the foul line in Thursday’s 118-115 win over Philadelphia, scoring 41 points with three rebounds, 12 assists, and three 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

    Advice: After a crushing home loss in Game 5, Brunson and the Knicks showed impressive mental fortitude to end the series in six games. The All-Star point guard became the first player since Oscar Robertson in 1973 to have three games with at least 35 points and 10 assists. He’s also the first player to score at least 37 in four straight playoff games since Michael Jordan in 1993. Due to their ending the series on Thursday instead of needing a seventh game on Saturday, the Knicks will get valuable time off before their second-round series against the Pacers.     DiVincenzo ended Tuesday's 112-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with nine points (3-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 26 minutes.

    Advice: DiVincenzo has had a tough series so far on the offensive end, but he's been solid defensively and does a lot of things that don't always show up on the box score. Through five games of the opening-round series, the guard has averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 three-pointers while hitting 33.3 percent from the field.     Advice: Brunson was carrying a probable tag into Tuesday's game with a right knee contusion, but he powered through it and didn't appear limited in any way. Brunson's counting stats continue to be through the roof, but he has struggled with his shot.     Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 40 points (15-of-32 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, three steals and four triples in a 112-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 5 on Tuesday.

    Advice: With a chance to close out the series at home, Brunson had a massive performance, which was his second straight game with at least 40 points. Unfortunately, an unreal stretch from Tyrese Maxey late in the fourth quarter forced overtime, where the Knicks just couldn’t get anything going outside of Brunson, who scored all nine of their points in the extra frame. It was still an impressive game from Brunson, but they’ll now have to go into Philadelphia for Game 6 on Thursday. Brunson averaged 43 points in the two games in Philly, with the Knicks coming away with a win in Game 4. They’ll need another masterclass performance out of him to avoid a Game 7.
