    • Burn the tape: Jalen Brunson struggles in blowout
Jalen Brunson shot 6-of-17 from the field and 6-of-9 from the foul line in Sunday’s 121-89 loss to the Pacers, scoring 18 points with three rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 31 minutes.

Advice: Brunson and the Knicks were never in Game 4, as the Pacers won the first quarter by a 34-14 margin and did not look back. New York’s star point guard missed his first six shot attempts and finished Sunday’s loss 0-of-5 from beyond the arc. If there’s anything the Knicks can take solace in, it’s that Sunday’s result only counts for one game, regardless of the margin. Also, the blowout led to the Knicks’ key options sitting out the entire fourth quarter. Game 5 is on Tuesday in New York, with the teams tied at two games apiece. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:59 pm
    • Struggles with shot in Game 3
Brunson supplied 26 points (10-26 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Friday's 111-106 loss to the Pacers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Brunson's final stat line looks decent overall, but the fact that he needed 26 shots to score 26 points can't be overlooked. The star guard has been one of the league's best players during the postseason, and the Knicks need him to be more efficient ahead of a pivotal Game 4 on Sunday. This may be just a bump in the road for Brunson, however, as he's shooting 50 percent from the field while averaging 32.7 points per game so far in the series. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:10 am
    • Jalen Brunson (foot) logs 38 minutes in Game 3
Jalen Brunson (sore right foot) shot 10-of-26 from the field and 4-of-7 from the foul line in Friday’s 111-106 loss to Indiana, accumulating 26 points, six assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: Brunson did not look like himself early in Game 3, eventually subbing out with 6:55 remaining in the first quarter. The good news for the Knicks is that he still played 38 minutes and eventually got going as New York nearly stole a win on the road. The five turnovers were a concern, as the Pacers made Aaron Nesmith the primary defender, using a bigger body to make life difficult for Brunson. Now, there’s a quick turnaround for JB and the shorthanded Knicks to navigate, as Game 4 is on Sunday afternoon. Brunson may appear on the injury report but expect the Knicks point guard to take on his usual workload (or be close to it). Rotoworld Friday, 7:05 pm
    • Good to go for Game 3
Brunson (foot) is available and in the starting lineup for Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.

Advice: As expected, Brunson has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday despite dealing with right foot soreness. With OG Anunoby (hamstring) out, Brunson will likely need to continue his scoring dominance in order for the Knicks to take a 3-0 lead in the series. Rotowire.com Friday, 3:38 pm
    • Expected to play Friday
Brunson (foot) will likely go through warmups and play in Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.

Advice: Brunson is officially listed as questionable for Friday's contest due to right foot soreness but is expected to suit up. The star guard is averaging 35.6 points, 8.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 42.4 minutes across his eight appearances thus far in the postseason. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:55 pm
    • Jalen Brunson (foot) active Friday vs. Pacers
Jalen Brunson (right foot soreness) has been upgraded from questionable to active for Friday’s Knicks-Pacers game.

Advice: Brunson had an injury scare in Game 2 before returning to action and appears to be healthy enough to play again ahead of the weekend. It’s unclear whether he’ll handle his usual heavy workload, but some reserve guards could be asked to step up while OG Anunoby is out. Rotoworld Friday, 12:48 pm
    • Jalen Brunson (foot) questionable Friday
Jalen Brunson (right foot soreness) is listed as questionable for Game 3 of the Knicks-Pacers series.

Advice: Brunson logged 29 points in 32 minutes after suffering a foot injury in Game 2 and his Game 3 status is up in the air. He logged 38 or more minutes in every game until his last outing. Miles McBride will be asked to step up if Brunson can’t go on Friday. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:06 pm
    • Deemed questionable for Game 3
Brunson is listed as questionable for Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers due to right foot soreness.

Advice: Brunson injured his foot during Game 2 but was able to finish out the contest with 29 points, five assists, two rebounds and three steals in 32 minutes. If Brunson is unable to play Friday, Miles McBride, Shake Milton and Alec Burks would all be candidates to receive significant increases in playing time. Rotowire.com Thursday, 2:36 pm
    • Jalen Brunson (foot) returns, scores 29 points
Jalen Brunson (sore right foot) shot 11-of-18 from the field and 4-of-6 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 130-121 win over the Pacers, tallying 29 points, two rebounds, five assists, three steals, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: Brunson endured an injury scare during the first half of Game 2, exiting with 3:32 remaining in the first quarter. An apparent sore foot kept him in the locker room through halftime, but the Knicks point guard returned for the start of the third quarter. And it’s a good thing he did, as Brunson took over in the second half to lead the Knicks in scoring again. While his streak of 40-point games concludes, the Knicks taking a 2-0 series lead to Indianapolis is more important. Also, the Knicks are 6-1 in “clutch games” (games with a margin of five points or less with five minutes remaining) this postseason. Brunson said he’ll try to be available for Game 3 on Friday, so consider him questionable. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:39 pm
