Washington has been Dallas' second-best player in this series, reaching the 20-point mark in three straight appearances and recording two double-doubles. That has resulted in more opportunities for Washington, who has been the leading scorer for Dallas for three straight games now. He has averaged 5.7 triples per game during this stretch and has still made an impact on the defensive end.       Advice: Aside from a “subpar” performance in their Game 2 loss, Brown has been fantastic this series. He has now scored at least 25 points in five games this postseason, three of which have been in this series. The Jays have been unstoppable, and there’s no reason to think that they won’t stay hot in Game 5 with the series shifting back to Boston. Securing this win will give them a chance to close out the series at home on Wednesday and make a return to the conference finals for the third straight year and the fourth time in the last five years.       Advice: Brown was part of a dominant pairing alongside Jayson Tatum, leading Boston offensively en route to helping the team take a 3-1 series advantage. Brown connected on a pair of threes while ending as one of two players with 25 or more points in the victory, also finishing two rebounds shy of a double-double.       Advice: Edwards carried the Timberwolves on offense in Game 4, and at times, he did the heavy lifting all by himself. However, his impressive stat line was not enough to avoid a second consecutive loss at home.       Advice: Ant-Man was superhuman yet again, though the rest of his team was more like the Wasp and stung him badly in the loss. Edwards shot an efficient 16-of-25 from the floor, while his teammates combined to shoot 23-of-57 for just 63 points. The next highest scorer on the team was Mike Conley, who chipped in 15, while Karl-Anthony Towns struggled to find his shot, and Naz Reid was given just 19 minutes. Edwards has been absolutely dominant in this season’s playoffs, but he’ll need more from his teammates now that the Western Conference semis are tied up and heading back to Denver for a pivotal Game 5.       Jaylen Brown accumulated 28 points on 13-of-17 shooting in Saturday’s win over the Cavs, adding nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and two three-pointers across 41 minutes.

      Advice: Brown finished behind only Jayson Tatum (33 points) for team lead in the scoring department, and the former is Boston’s leading scorer thus far into the playoffs with an average of 24.2. He dropped 32 in Game 1 and “fell off” a bit in Game 2 with 19 points on just 7-of-17 shooting, so it was nice to see a bounce-back effort in this one. The 23 shot attempts matched a season high for Washington, who is averaging 13.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in the playoffs.       Advice: Faced with defending Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, Oklahoma City has not devoted as much attention to Washington. Given how well he’s played in the last two games, that could change for Game 4 on Monday. After hitting seven 3-pointers and scoring 29 points in Game 2, he made five more in Game 3 while leading the Mavericks in scoring. Washington attempted 23 shots on the afternoon, tied for the most of any player who saw action. PJ has been much better than expected, and Oklahoma City could take the approach of him regressing to the mean eventually. However, the last two games show this is a dangerous strategy.
