• Poor offensive showing in loss
Williams registered 12 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and three steals across 39 minutes during Wednesday's 104-92 loss to Dallas in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Williams hasn't been able to repeat the same numbers he posted during the first-round series against the Pelicans, and he's yet to surpass the 20-point mark in the current series against the Mavericks -- an alarming figure given he averaged 19.1 points per game in the regular season and 21.3 points per contest against New Orleans. Williams is also shooting a meager 40.8 percent from the field in the current series against Dallas. Rotowire.com Today, 9:02 am
  • Jalen Williams limited to 12 points in Game 5 loss
Jalen Williams shot 6-of-13 from the field in Wednesday’s loss to the Mavericks, scoring 12 points with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 39 minutes.

Advice: After scoring at least 19 points in all four games of Oklahoma City’s first-round sweep of New Orleans, JDub has been held in check by Dallas. Game 3 was the only game in which he scored 20 points or more, and he shot 11-of-32 from the field in Games 4 and 5. The steals production has provided DFS players with some production, but Williams has to be more productive as a scorer if Oklahoma City is to force a decisive Game 7. Game 6 is on Saturday night in Dallas. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:39 pm
  • Darius Garland struggles in season-ending defeat
Darius Garland accounted for 11 points (4-of-17 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine assists, and two steals in 43 minutes in Wednesday’s 113-98 loss to the Celtics.

Advice: Boston eliminated Cleveland in five games, an unsurprising outcome given the Cavaliers’ many injuries. What was incredibly disappointing about Game 5 was Garland’s performance. After scoring 30 points and dishing out seven assists in Game 4, he shot 4-of-17 from the field and missed all four of his 3-point attempts. As with Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, injuries were a significant factor for Garland, as he was limited to 57 regular-season games. While his value in 8-cat formats wasn’t far from his Yahoo ADP (40.3), he failed to crack the top 100 in 9-cat. Selecting Garland within the top 50 of standard league drafts wouldn’t be a bad idea, but fantasy managers can’t be blamed if they decide to look elsewhere next fall. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:10 pm
  • Struggles from field in Game 4
Williams totaled 14 points (5-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and four steals across 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 win over the Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Williams didn't have his best shooting performance, and his numbers regressed a bit compared to what he'd been doing in the previous contests, but his role as the Thunder's second-best offensive weapon is firmly established ahead of Chet Holmgren, which should give him an excellent floor in most DFS slates. Williams is averaging 19.1 points per game in eight playoff contests thus far, but it's worth noting this was his lowest-scoring performance of the postseason. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:04 am
  • Jalen Williams turns in 14/9/6/4 line in Game 4
Jalen Williams struggled with his shot on Monday but still finished with 14 points (5-of-19 FGs), nine rebounds, six assists and four steals against the Mavericks in Game 4.

Advice: JDub didn’t have an efficient shooting night, but he still found ways to be effective and impact the game. His four steals were the most that he has had in a playoff game, and he had a pair of clutch buckets with less than two minutes left in the game to give them a late five-point lead. JDub was better offensively against New Orleans than he has been against Dallas, but with this series tied up, he’ll get a fresh start in a new best-of-3 series that will start with Game 5 on Wednesday. • Darius Garland drops 30 in Game 4 loss to Boston
Darius Garland led Cleveland with 30 points (12-of-27 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four triples in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday.

Advice: Cleveland had to play this game without Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a calf injury. That meant that Garland was going to be asked to do a lot more, and he rose to the occasion. It wasn’t enough for them to get the win, but he had by far his best game of this postseason. If Mitchell remains sidelined for Game 5 on Wednesday, Garland will once again have to orchestrate Cleveland’s offense like he did in this game. This has been a disappointing playoff run for Garland, but this was an encouraging performance that showed that he can still shine when he needs to. Rotoworld Monday, 7:24 pm
  • Leads offensively in Game 4 loss
Garland accumulated 30 points (12-27 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 40 minutes during Monday's 109-102 loss to Boston in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Garland led all Cavaliers in scoring while connecting on a quartet of threes, handing out a team-high-tying assist total and adding a pair of steals in a well-rounded Game 4 against the Celtics. Garland, playing with more weight on his shoulders to lead the short-handed Cavaliers offensively, posted his highest scoring total of the postseason thus far. He has recorded at least 14 points and four assists in all four games against Boston in the semifinals. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:15 pm
  • T.J. McConnell finishes with 15 points, 10 assists
T.J. McConnell finished Sunday’s Game 4 win over the Knicks with 15 points (6-of-12 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes.

Advice: While the decision to shift Aaron Nesmith onto Jalen Brunson has received a lot of attention, and rightfully so, McConnell’s role has also been significant. The veteran point guard took on the task when Nesmith (8/12/1/0/1 in 24 minutes) wasn’t in the game, and he was highly impactful in both of Indiana’s wins at home. In addition to being a pest on the defensive end of the floor, McConnell recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists. For those interested in this series for betting purposes, McConnell is worth considering for prop bet action. Game 5 is on Monday in New York, with the teams tied at two wins each. • Donte DiVincenzo goes cold, scores seven points
Donte DiVincenzo played 32 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Pacers, tallying seven points (3-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer.

Advice: After catching fire in the Knicks’ Game 3 loss on Friday, DiVincenzo could not find his groove in Game 4. And that was the case for the team as a whole, as New York was outscored by a 34-14 margin in the first quarter and never got back into the game. DiVincenzo was subbed out late in the third quarter as the last starter to exit Sunday’s loss. The Knicks host Game 5 on Tuesday, with the series tied at two. Given how shorthanded New York is, their hope has to be that the extra time on the bench in Game 4 will give their stars a boost. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:58 pm
