    CJ McCollum struggled with his shot but still contributed 16 points (7-of-22 FGs), five rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block, two triples and six turnovers against the Thunder on Saturday.

    Advice: McCollum may have produced solid value in the box score, but this wasn’t an efficient performance for him. He started 1-of-10 from the floor, and he accounted for six of the team’s 20 turnovers. New Orleans has needed more out of McCollum with Zion Williamson sidelined, but that hasn’t happened. They’ll host the Thunder in Game 4 on Monday, and McCollum will have to be much better than he was in this one if they want to avoid the sweep and keep their season alive.     Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 19 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two triples in a 106-85 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 3 on Saturday.

    Advice: With Zion Williamson sidelined, the Pelicans have needed BI to put the team on his back. He simply hasn’t been able to do that. He is averaging 18.3 points per game in this series, which isn’t All-Star level production. They’re now down 3-0 in this series, and they’ll need Ingram to step up his aggressiveness in Game 4 on Monday if they want to extend this series. He made 50% of his shots in this game after shooting 50% in Game 2 as well. They simply need him to shoot more, which is something that Lu Dort hasn’t made easy. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago

    Jalen Williams posted a solid line on Saturday with 21 points (9-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and three triples against the Pelicans.

    Advice: JDub came out of the game early after getting poked in the eye, but he was able to return quickly and make a big impact on this game. Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey combined to score 66 of OKC’s 106 points in this game, and the Pelicans didn’t have an answer for the second straight game. Williams has been really solid through the first three games of his playoff career, which shouldn’t come as a surprise.     Josh Giddey stuffed the stat sheet on Saturday and finished with 21 points (8-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against the Pelicans in Game 3.

    Advice: Giddey played better in Game 2 than he did in Game 1, and he was even better in this one. He produced a solid stat line, and he was a threat from beyond the arc, which has been a weakness for the team. If Giddey can consistently knock down open shots, they’ll be a difficult team to slow down during this postseason. It is unlikely that he will continue to be this productive as a scorer, but he was an important piece in their big win on Saturday.     Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 24 points (8-of-20 FGs), five rebounds, eight assists, four steals, one block and one triple in a 106-85 win over New Orleans in Game 3 on Saturday.

    Advice: SGA wasn’t as efficient in this game in comparison to his performances in Games 1 and 2, but he was still able to lead the team in scoring and help them take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. This was a well-rounded performance for the team, and they’ll have a chance to close out the series in Game 4 on Monday. SGA, who is a finalist for the league’s MVP award, has had a strong start to the postseason, and they’ll need him to keep it up if they want to make any real noise in the playoffs this year.     Allen (ankle) is questionable for Game 4 against the Timberwolves on Sunday, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

    Advice: Allen didn't play in Game 3 of the series Friday, and his status is unclear, although the questionable tag leaves the door open for a return in what might be the final game of the Suns' season.     Hardaway is doubtful for Sunday's Game 4 against the Clippers due to a right ankle sprain.

    Advice: Hardaway left Game 2 of the series on Tuesday after just six minutes of action and didn't feature in Game 3, so he's been extremely limited in the series. The doubtful tag isn't particularly encouraging ahead of Sunday's contest, but an official announcement should be made closer to Sunday's 3:30 p.m. ET tipoff.
