      Advice: Mitchell led Cleveland offensively in a bounce-back performance in Game 2 to even the series with Boston, leading all players in the contest in scoring, threes made and assists while ending one point shy of the 30-point mark in the road game. Mitchell has done it all for the Cavaliers through two games against the Celtics, averaging 31 points so far in the semifinals.       Advice: LeVert made the most of his time off the bench in Game 2, ending as one of three Cavaliers with 20 or more points while helping Cleveland claim a much-needed victory to even the series against Boston. LeVert didn't connect on a three but still ended tied for second on the team in scoring to go along with a half-dozen rebounds and a trio of assists. LeVert had a bounce-back game after recording just four points in Tuesday's Game 1, playing a big part in Cleveland being able to steal a game on the road as it now returns home to try and take a lead in the series.       Caris LeVert amassed 21 points (9-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, and three assists in 27 minutes in Thursday’s 118-94 win over the Celtics.

      Advice: Cleveland returns home tied at one game apiece, thanks partially to the “others” stepping up their production. After shooting 2-of-6 from the field and scoring four points in Game 1, LeVert was a huge factor off the bench on Thursday. He remains cold from beyond the arc (0-of-3 in Game 2, 1-of-12 over his last six games), but the Cavaliers sixth man was 9-of-14 from two. Boston played poorly on Thursday, but LeVert and the Cavaliers had much to do with that. Game 2 was the formula for Cleveland regarding their ability to win this series; the question is whether they can do this three more times. Game 3 is on Saturday night.       Advice: Cleveland earned a split of Games 1 and 2, with a common theme for both games being Boston’s inability to slow down Mitchell. After dropping in 33 points in Game 1, Spida scored 29 in Game 2 before both coaches decided to clear their benches with a little over four minutes remaining. Also, Mitchell was more efficient as a scorer and playmaker on Thursday, with the eight assists countered by just one turnover. Mitchell will get his in this series; Cleveland’s chances of winning depend on the “others” stepping up. They did in Game 2 and will need to do the same in Game 3 on Saturday.       Antetokounmpo (calf) disclosed last Friday that he was "not close" to returning to the Bucks lineup before the team was eliminated from the playoffs May 2 in a 120-98 loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of the first-round series, Jamal Collier of ESPN.com reports. "I did all the tests I had to do, these like protocols you have to follow and have to check the boxes," Antetokounmpo said. "I wasn't even close at checking the boxes."

      Advice: Though head coach Doc Rivers had suggested last week that Antetokounmpo was close to being available to play after missing the final three games of the regular season with a left soleus strain, Rivers' comments may have been an act of gamesmanship. Antetokounmpo ultimately missed all six playoff contests, and his absence likely would have extended into the Eastern Conference semifinal round if the Bucks had advanced, as the 29-year-old estimated that he was running at about 30 or 40 percent speed. He should be closer to full health by the end of May, but Antetokounmpo likely won't have a full offseason to rest up, as he had previously expressed a desire to play for the Greek national team in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Greece will have to first earn a spot in the Olympics through a qualification tournament that will take place in the first week of July, so confirmation on whether Antetokounmpo is healthy should come shortly before that time.       Advice: Hartenstein continues to impress for the Knicks, falling two assists short of a triple-double. With Mitchell Robinson (ankle) likely out for the remainder of the postseason, Hartenstein should be in line for heavy minutes moving forward. It's been a breakout season for Hartenstein, one that should have him well-placed to receive a sizeable upgrade when it comes time to discuss his future contract.       Advice: Hartenstein was outstanding in Game 2, finishing two assists shy of a triple-double while committing just one turnover. Jalen Brunson not being at full strength after injuring his right foot during the first half may not have impacted iHart, positionally speaking. Still, his ability to serve as a secondary playmaker was one of the reasons why the Knicks remained within striking distance.       Advice: The Knicks held serve at home in the first two games, and DiVincenzo’s improved play is one reason. The “Big Ragu” has been on a bit of a heater, with his run of three straight games of 23 points or more beginning with the Game 6 win over Philadelphia. In the first two games against the Pacers, DiVincenzo has scored 53 points on 20-of-37 shooting from the field (11-of-21 from three). Indiana doesn’t defend as well as Philadelphia, especially on the wings, and the Knicks have taken advantage. DiVincenzo will look to keep his run going in Game 3 on Friday.       Advice: Mitchell carried the momentum he had from his epic Game 7 performance against the Magic on Sunday and surpassed the 30-point mark for the third straight game. However, the rest of his teammates didn't step up, and the Cavaliers suffered a devastating 25-point loss in the series opener. Mitchell should continue to post excellent numbers as the Cavaliers' go-to player on offense -- by a wide margin -- but there's a chance his mighty performances might not translate into wins as happened against the Magic in the previous round.
