      Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander fell agonizingly short of his first career playoff triple-double, guiding the Thunder to an emphatic Game 1 victory. While this was a close contest for the first three quarters, Oklahoma City took over late, led by the MVP candidate. He will look to build on this performance when the two teams clash again Thursday.       Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 29 points (8-of-19 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), nine rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and two triples in a 117-95 win over Dallas in Game 1 on Tuesday.

      Advice: SGA played well in their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but SGA had arguably his best performance of this postseason in Game 1. His field goal percentage was once again significantly worse than it was during the regular season, but he came close to recording a triple-double. He took over this game with Jalen Williams struggling for the first three quarters, and the Thunder used a dominant fourth quarter to seal the win in the first game of the series.       Advice: Anunoby did not produce a prolific stat line, but he was solid as the Knicks rallied to take Game 1. The versatile forward finished one rebound shy of a double-double and was also responsible for a team-high three steals. Anunoby has his hands full defensively with former Raptors teammate Pascal Siakam, but he made a few critical plays off the ball down the stretch. He was impactful on both ends of the floor as New York closed out Philadelphia, and OG scored 16 points or more in each of the final four games of the series. Tyrese Maxey’s heroics overshadowed that, but Anunoby’s fit with this team has been flawless. He played 50 minutes in this game after logging 46 minutes in their last one, but that won’t change Tom Thibodeau’s gameplan.       Advice: Gilgeous-Alexander struggled with his shooting touch in this one, but he crashed the boards for a series-high 10 rebounds, marking his first double-double of the 2024 postseason. The Kentucky product appeared to tweak his ankle during Monday's matchup, but he was able to work through the issue on the Thunder bench and eventually returned to lead his team to a series-clinching victory. "Just tweaked it," said head coach Mark Daigneault on Gilgeous-Alexander's ankle injury. "Obviously good enough to go back into the game. He'll need treatment.
