      Caleb Martin turned in a solid stat line on Monday with 18 points (6-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals and four 3-pointers against the Celtics.

      Advice: Martin had a solid second half, as he scored 13 of his 18 points after the break. He bounced back after only scoring five points in their last game, which came after he dropped 21 points in the Game 2 win. Martin has had to play big minutes in this series with Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier out, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. may join them on the sidelines for their next game after he injured his hip in this one. Martin should continue to contribute decent numbers, but that shouldn’t make him a player to target in fantasy drafts next year. Rotoworld Monday, 8:04 pm

      Booker accumulated 49 points (13-21 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 20-21 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 45 minutes during Sunday's 122-116 loss to Minnesota in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Minnesota swept the Suns on Sunday, but Booker did everything he could to keep Phoenix in contention during a back-and-forth matchup, logging his fourth-highest scoring total of the season while contributing on both ends of the court. Booker remained dominant during his age-27 season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 36.0 minutes per game.     • Devin Booker’s 49 not enough to keep season alive
      Devin Booker amassed a game-high 49 points in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves, adding five rebounds, six assists, two steals, a blocked shot and three triples across 45 minutes.

      Advice: Booker was an efficient 13-of-21 from the floor and converted a ridiculous 20 of his 21 free throw attempts. Booker became just the 13th player in NBA history to hit at least 20 free throws in a playoff game, and Sunday’s performance was the first of its kind since Dirk Nowitzki hit 24 from the charity stripe back in 2011. Booker added an eighth 40-point playoff game to his resume, extending his own franchise record, but the scoring binge wasn’t enough to stave off elimination as most of the team struggled. Booker and Kevin Durant combined for 82 of Phoenix’s 116 points, and no other player had more than nine.       Booker accumulated 23 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 42 minutes during Friday's 126-109 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Booker finished just two assists away from recording a double-double in Game 3, and the star guard will need to be at his best Sunday if the Suns want to avoid getting swept in the first round.       Devin Booker led the Suns with 28 points (10-of-19 FGs), four rebounds, four assists and six triples in a 126-109 loss to Minnesota in Game 3 on Friday.

      Advice: Phoenix’s big three combined to score 76 points on 26-of-52 shooting from the floor. None of them had a spectacular performance, but their total output was solid and efficient. However, it still wasn’t enough. Booker led the way, though he did pad his stats at the end with a few garbage-time buckets. If they want to keep their season alive in Game 4 on Sunday, they’re going to need a big performance from either Booker of KD.     • Strong from deep in 21-point outing
      Martin ended with 21 points (7-12 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal over 36 minutes in Wednesday's 111-101 win over Boston in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round.

      Advice: Martin had a breakout performance in Wednesday's bounce-back victory, earning his second straight start to begin the series against the Celtics. Martin connected on a handful of threes while ending as one of three Heat players with 20 or more points, a mark he surpassed on four occasions during the regular season.       Jerome (ankle) remains out Thursday for Game 3 of the Cavaliers' first-round playoff series versus the Magic.

    • On track for training camp
      Nets general manager Sean Marks said Wednesday that "all signs point to" Simmons (back) being available to start next season's training camp, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.

      Advice: Simmons underwent a successful microscopic partial discectomy in mid-March to alleviate the nerve impingement in his lower back, marking yet another injury-related setback for the 2017 No. 1 overall pick. The 27-year-old has played in only 57 games across the last three seasons, but when available, he has shown he can still be an active defender and excellent playmaker.       Devin Booker logged 42 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves, accumulating 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: Booker fouled out of Game 2, but the outcome was no longer in doubt at that point. He did lead the Suns in scoring, but, as was the case in the series opener on Saturday, efficiency was a problem. Booker committing six turnovers was more concerning than the field-goal percentage, with the Suns recording 19 as a team. Bradley Beal wasn’t much better, as he was responsible for four to go along with 14 points (6-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
