    Advice: Hardy, along with A.J. Lawson and Dwight Powell, secured a handful of minutes down the stretch Friday. With the game well in hand, the Mavericks were able to give their fringe players a rare opportunity to see playoff basketball. This is not something we should expect to see very often moving forward.     Washington chipped in 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 34 minutes before getting ejected from Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Washington was ejected following a scuffle with Russell Westbrook, much to the delight of the home fans. While losing a player is never a good thing, his energy and willingness to not back down proved a hit with the Dallas faithful.     Boston finished with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT) and one rebound in three minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Boston played three minutes in garbage time, something the Clippers will be hoping doesn't repeat itself.     Advice: Zubac turned in a strong effort Friday, flirting with a double-double. He added a pair of defensive stats for good measure, delivering his best performance of the postseason.   • Dereck Lively II chips in 13 points off bench
    Dereck Lively II provided a boost off the bench with 13 points (6-of-8 FGs), two rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes against the Clippers in Game 3 on Friday.

    Advice: Lively only played nine minutes in Game 2 and ended up missing practice on Thursday because of some soreness in his lower back. However, he was able to play in Game 3, and he was able to make an impact off the bench. He scored all 13 of his points in the first half, which included five dunks.   • PJ Washington ejected after contact with Westbrook
    PJ Washington has been ejected from Game 3 against the Clippers on Friday.

    Advice: Washington picked up his second technical foul of the game after initiating contact with Russell Westbrook. Both of Washington’s technicals were double techs, with the first coming after getting into it with Terance Mann earlier in the fourth quarter. Rotoworld Today, 7:38 pm

    O'Neale will start Friday's Game versus the Timberwolves, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

    Advice: Grayson Allen (ankle) will sit out Game 3, but he's considered day-to-day and could be back for Game 4 on Sunday. In 14 starts during the regular season, O'Neale averaged 10.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.9 three-pointers. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 pm
     
  • Royce O’Neale to start in place of Grayson Allen
    Royce O’Neale will join Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic in the starting unit for Game 3 against Minnesota on Friday.

    Obi Toppin provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), six rebounds and two triples against the Bucks on Friday.

    Advice: Toppin scored 13 points total in Games 1 and 2 of this series, but he exceeded that number in this game. He only played 17 minutes, and it’s unlikely that he plays a larger role moving forward. However, he stepped up and provided them with a nice boost in this one. Toppin was the team’s starting power forward to open the year, but he has still found a way to be effective as a reserve recently.
