    • Nears 30 points despite injury
Lillard posted 28 points (6-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three steals and one rebound over 45 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Despite leaving Friday's game briefly with a knee injury, Lillard finished the Game 3 contest and led all Bucks players in assists while ending two points shy of the 30-point mark to provide a boost offensively in a losing effort. Lillard, who was perfect from the free-throw line to go along with a team-high-tying mark from three, has posted at least 28 points in all three games of the first round. It will be worth monitoring Lillard's status ahead of Game 4 given his brief exit Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:01 pm
    • Damian Lillard shrugs off early injury, scores 28
Damian Lillard struggled with his shot but still finished with 28 points (6-of-20 FGs, 12-of-12 FTs), one rebound, eight assists, three steals and four 3-pointers against Indiana in Game 3 on Friday.

Advice: Lillard exited briefly during the first quarter because of an injury, but he came back quickly and was able to finish out the game. The Bucks can’t afford another injury, since they’ll likely be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the entire first round. Dame struggled with his shot, and he was clearly banged up at the end of the game. Game 4 is on Sunday, so he will only have two days to recover before they’ll need him once again, as they look to avoid going down 3-1. After the game, Doc Rivers said that Lillard went to the locker room because of an Achilles injury, and that “Dame was really struggling. In the overtime, he said I’ll be the decoy. I just can’t go, as far as explosion.” That is certainly concerning, and there is certainly a chance that he misses Game 4. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:48 pm
    • Returns to Game 3
Lillard (knee) has returned to Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers, Tony East of SI.com reports.

Advice: Lillard went straight to the locker room after suffering an apparent left knee injury with 2:13 remaining in the first quarter, but he was back on the court to start the second period. Khris Middleton is playing through an ankle sprain he suffered in Game 2, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) has yet to play this postseason, so Lillard's return is a major relief. The All-Star has scored 69 points through the first two games of the series but struggled in the second half on both matchups, which allowed Indiana to even the series with a Game 2 win Tuesday. • Damian Lillard (knee) returns from locker room
Damian Lillard (knee) returned to Friday’s Bucks-Pacers game after heading to the locker room toward the end of the first quarter.

Advice: Lillard didn’t stay in the locker room for long. He returned to the hardwood for the second quarter after a brief stint in the locker room and will continue to play in Game 3. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:21 pm
    • Heads to locker room
Lillard left Friday's Game 3 with 2:13 remaining in the first quarter due to an apparent left knee injury and went to the locker room, Tony East of SI.com reports.

Advice: Lillard drove to the basket for a layup and gently collided with Pascal Siakam but landed awkwardly and had to be helped to the bench. Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) has yet to play this postseason, and Khris Middleton is playing through an ankle injury he suffered early in Game 2, so Lillard's potential absence couldn't come at a worse time. AJ Green subbed in for Lillard, but Pat Connaughton and Malik Beasley are also candidates for increased roles until the All-Star point guard can return. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:13 pm
    • Damian Lillard (knee) headed to locker room
Damian Lillard (knee) went to the locker room during the first quarter of Friday’s Bucks-Pacers game.

Advice: Lillard twisted his knee on a drive against the Pacers and went to the bench before heading back to the locker room. It’s unclear whether he’ll return. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:04 pm
    • Goes cold in Game 3 loss
Mitchell registered 13 points (6-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and seven assists over 27 minutes during Thursday's 121-83 loss to Orlando in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Mitchell had scored a combined 53 points during the first two games of the series, but he was unable to keep that momentum going in Game 3. However, no Cleveland player scored more than 15 points, and Mitchell didn't see the court during most of the second half. The star guard will aim to bounce back in Game 4 of the series Saturday. • Donovan Mitchell limited to 13 points on Thursday
Donovan Mitchell shot 6-of-16 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Magic, accounting for 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

Advice: Dominant in the first two games of the series, Mitchell was held in check in Game 3. While he did lead the Cavaliers in assists, only Caris LeVert (15/2/3/0/1 with one 3-pointer) had a worse plus/minus than Spida, who finished at a minus-25. Mitchell largely carried Cleveland’s backcourt in the first two games, but his off night was problematic, with Darius Garland continuing to struggle. Garland shot 2-of-9 from the field in Game 3, finishing with five points, three rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer. Game 4 is on Saturday, with Cleveland holding a 2-1 lead. • Scores team-high 34 points in loss
Lillard totaled 34 points (10-21 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 125-108 loss to the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Lillard followed up his 35-point performance in Game 1 with another solid number, but his stellar play wasn't enough this time. His supporting cast was much less effective in Game 2, and Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) missing output continues to plague the offense. Lillard's excellent start to the postseason is no surprise, as he's averaged 29.5 points, 6.2 assists and 4.5 rebounds over 62 playoff games in his career. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:11 am
