      Advice: Mitchell carried the momentum he had from his epic Game 7 performance against the Magic on Sunday and surpassed the 30-point mark for the third straight game. However, the rest of his teammates didn't step up, and the Cavaliers suffered a devastating 25-point loss in the series opener. Mitchell should continue to post excellent numbers as the Cavaliers' go-to player on offense -- by a wide margin -- but there's a chance his mighty performances might not translate into wins as happened against the Magic in the previous round.       Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 33 points (12-of-25 FGs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal and four triples in a 120-95 loss to the Celtics in Game 1 on Tuesday.

      Advice: This was Mitchell’s third straight game with at least 30 points, but it didn’t end up mattering in the end. Mitchell did most of his scoring in the first quarter (14) and third quarter (16), but he didn’t add much in the second and fourth quarter, which lined up with Cleveland’s offensive struggles. Mitchell was able to provide plenty of offense, but he’ll need help if the Cavaliers want to pull off the upset in this series.       Advice: The Cavaliers needed Mitchell to step up and deliver a superstar performance in Game 7 against a rising Orlando team, and that's exactly what he accomplished with this outing. Mitchell had some ups and downs in the series but often stepped his game up when the Cavaliers needed him, something that will be even more needed against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.       Advice: Mitchell did what players with playoff experience are supposed to do in a game the magnitude of Sunday’s Game 7. While the Cavaliers struggled collectively, Spida shouldered most of the load until others stepped up. He scored 89 points in Games 6 and 7, the second-most in the sixth and seventh games of an NBA playoff series (Allen Iverson scored 90 in Games 6 and 7 of the 2002 Eastern Conference Finals vs. Milwaukee).       Advice: Mitchell outscored the rest of the Cavaliers roster, dropping 50 points in the loss. He scored all of Cleveland's points in the final quarter.       Donovan Mitchell shot 22-of-36 from the field and 3-of-6 from the foul line in Friday’s 103-96 loss to Orlando, scoring 50 points with four rebounds, four assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

      Advice: Playing in a close-out game for the first time in his two seasons with the Cavaliers, Mitchell did his best to carry Cleveland across the finish line. He scored all 18 of the team’s points in the fourth quarter, finishing with a game-high 50. Mitchell has scored 50 or more in three postseason games in his career, with Friday’s effort being his first since Game 4 of a 2020 first-round series against the Nuggets (as a member of the Jazz). However, if Cleveland is to defend home court in Game 7 on Sunday, Mitchell will need more help from Evan Mobley (3/7/0/1/5 in 34 minutes), especially if Jarrett Allen (ribs) cannot play.       Advice: Initially doubtful for Game 6 after sitting out Game 5, Lillard led the Bucks in scoring while playing 35 minutes. But that doesn’t change that this was a disappointing end to his first season in Milwaukee. While he was not traded until just before the start of training camp, the expectations were high for Lillard regarding fantasy value. Entering the season with a Yahoo ADP of 11.3, he finished as a top 25 player in 8- and 9-cat formats. The Bucks’ lack of continuity, with Khris Middleton being limited to 55 regular season games and Adrian Griffin being fired despite a 30-13 start, certainly impacted Lillard’s value. An entire offseason should help him and his teammates establish better on-court chemistry, but there’s always the possibility of significant changes being made to the roster.       Advice: Lillard returned in Game 6 after missing the previous two games with an Achilles injury, doing all he could to help Milwaukee extend the series by leading all players in Thursday's series-ending contest in scoring and threes made while ending perfect from the free-throw line. Despite dealing with some injury issues during the first-round series against Indiana, Lillard posted 28 or more points in all four of his appearances while adding four or more threes in each of those contests. Lillard is averaging 32.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 40.7 minutes across his previous three appearances in Milwaukee's first-round series against the Pacers.
