  • Josh Giddey logs 12 minutes in Game 4 victory
    Josh Giddey only logged 12 minutes on Monday and finished with five points (2-of-8 FGs), two assists, one steal, one block and one triple against Dallas.

    Advice: Giddey played well over the final three games of their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but he hasn’t been able to replicate that success against Dallas. He has been a liability on both ends of the floor, which has resulted in him playing just 13.3 minutes per game through the first four games. Mark Daigneault hasn’t moved him to a reserve role yet, but he has basically been splitting minutes with Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace.   • Jalen Williams turns in 14/9/6/4 line in Game 4
    Jalen Williams struggled with his shot on Monday but still finished with 14 points (5-of-19 FGs), nine rebounds, six assists and four steals against the Mavericks in Game 4.

    Advice: JDub didn’t have an efficient shooting night, but he still found ways to be effective and impact the game. His four steals were the most that he has had in a playoff game, and he had a pair of clutch buckets with less than two minutes left in the game to give them a late five-point lead. JDub was better offensively against New Orleans than he has been against Dallas, but with this series tied up, he’ll get a fresh start in a new best-of-3 series that will start with Game 5 on Wednesday.   • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander drops 34 in Game 4 win
    Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 34 points (14-of-27 FGs), eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in a 100-96 win over Dallas in Game 4 on Monday.

    Advice: This was an important game for the Thunder to win to be able to reclaim homecourt advantage and avoid a 3-1 hole in the series. With the pressure at its highest, OKC’s superstar rose to the occasion. He has been spectacular all series, and he once again put the team on his back. From the six minute mark to the four minute mark in the fourth quarter, SGA singlehandedly went on an 8-2 run to tie the game, and he had three assists after that to help seal the win.   • Darius Garland drops 30 in Game 4 loss to Boston
    Darius Garland led Cleveland with 30 points (12-of-27 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four triples in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday.

    Advice: Cleveland had to play this game without Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a calf injury. That meant that Garland was going to be asked to do a lot more, and he rose to the occasion. It wasn’t enough for them to get the win, but he had by far his best game of this postseason. If Mitchell remains sidelined for Game 5 on Wednesday, Garland will once again have to orchestrate Cleveland’s offense like he did in this game.     Advice: Strus led all players in Monday's contest in threes made while ending as one of four Cavaliers in scoring and handing out a team-high-tying assist total along with a pair of steals. Strus, who also hauled in seven boards, posted a new playoff-high in threes made and notched his second game with 10 or more points in the series against the Celtics.     Caris LeVert got the start on Monday and finished with 19 points (9-of-18 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one triple against the Celtics.

    Advice: Donovan Mitchell has been the star for Cleveland throughout this postseason, but he was sidelined for this game with a calf strain that started bothering him in Game 3. LeVert slid into the starting unit in his place, and he turned in a third straight solid performance. He struggled in Game 1, but he has averaged 18.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists over their last three games.     Advice: Garland led all Cavaliers in scoring while connecting on a quartet of threes, handing out a team-high-tying assist total and adding a pair of steals in a well-rounded Game 4 against the Celtics. Garland, playing with more weight on his shoulders to lead the short-handed Cavaliers offensively, posted his highest scoring total of the postseason thus far.     Advice: LeVert got the starting nod with the Cavaliers playing without Jarrett Allen (ribs) and Donovan Mitchell (calf), providing a lift offensively while ending one point shy of the 20-point mark in a losing effort. LeVert has been a key player coming off the bench for Cleveland this series, posting 15 or more points in three of the four games against Boston. If Mitchell is able to return for Game 5, look for LeVert to return to the second unit to be a spark off the bench.     Max Strus lit up the Celtics with 15 points (5-of-12 FGs), seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and five 3-pointers against Boston in Game 4 on Monday.

    Advice: Strus got off to a hot start in this game and entered the break with 15 points on five triples as they trailed by just five points. However, things were much different in the second half. He missed all five of his shot attempts but added six rebounds and six assists before fouling out late in the fourth. It was a strange half for Strus, since most of his production usually comes from beyond the arc, as he showcased in the first half.
