    Advice: Tatum did a little bit of everything to lead Boston to taking a commanding 3-1 series lead, pacing all players in Monday's contest in scoring and rebounds while shooting a perfect mark from the free-throw line and adding a handful of assists along with a pair of steals. Tatum has scored 25 or more points in three of his four games against Cleveland, turning things up a notch over the last two contests while posting at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five dimes in each game.     Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 33 points (11-of-24 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and two triples in a 109-102 win over Cleveland in Game 4 on Monday.

    Advice: Just like they did in the first round, the Celtics responded after a disappointing Game 2 loss. Tatum scored 33 points for the second straight game to help Boston reclaim homecourt advantage and take a 3-1 lead in this series. He got off to a hot start and scored 16 points in the first quarter to help Boston take an early lead. He was much better in their two road games, but he shouldn’t have any issues keeping this production up as they head home to try and close out the series on Wednesday and return to the Eastern Conference Finals.   • Struggles from field Sunday
    Towns posted 13 points (5-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Sunday's 115-107 loss to the Nuggets in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Towns might have ended with a double-double, and his overall stat line looked decent despite the loss. Still, his shooting woes are impossible to overlook, especially in a game where the Timberwolves needed him to provide a spark on offense. Towns needs to be better offensively for the Wolves. Otherwise, he forces players such as Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley to handle bigger roles on offense, and that's not a recipe for success. Towns is averaging 18.5 points per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the field in the series, and he needs to shake off this woeful showing in Game 5 on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 8:37 am

    Gordon produced 27 points (11-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal over 41 minutes during Sunday's 115-107 win over the Timberwolves in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Even though Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray get most of the attention for carrying Denver back from an 0-2 deficit, Gordon's performance Sunday can't be overlooked. He became the first player in NBA history to put up at least 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists while shooting 90 percent or better from the field in a playoff game. He's averaging 17.3 points per game while shooting 71.8 percent from the field in the series, and he'll aim to keep the momentum going ahead of Game 5 on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 8:32 am

    Walker provided five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal over nine minutes during Sunday's 121-89 victory over the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Walker played nine minutes off the bench, joining his fellow benchwarmers as the Pacers blew out the Knicks.     Advice: Jackson played a substantial role Sunday as the Pacers easily accounted for the Knicks, leveling the series at 2-2. This was an ugly loss for New York, while Indiana fans had the time of their lives at the Knicks' expense.   • Karl-Anthony Towns can’t find his shot in Game 4
    Karl-Anthony Towns accounted for 13 points (5-of-18 FG), 12 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a three-pointer across 38 minutes in Sunday’s 115-107 loss to the Nuggets.

    Advice: Towns scored at least 20 points in Games 1 and 2 of the semifinals in Denver, but he failed to eclipse 14 points at home in Games 3 and 4. Towns has been mostly deferential on offense through eight postseason games, averaging 18.5 points on just 11.5 shots per contest. Anthony Edwards has been doing the heavy lifting as a scorer, and Towns has been chipping in as a rebounder and secondary scoring option. He’ll need to be much more efficient than this in Game 5 on Tuesday if Minnesota hopes to reclaim the series lead. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:15 pm
     
  • Aaron Gordon scores 27 on 11-of-12 shooting
    Aaron Gordon finished Sunday’s win over Minnesota with 27 points on 11-of-12 shooting, adding seven rebounds, six assists, a steal, two blocks and a pair of triples across 41 minutes.

    Advice: Gordon had himself a night on Sunday, missing only one shot en route to a monster scoring performance. His 27 points are tied for the second-most in his playoff career, bested only by the 29 he dropped in Game 3 of the first-round series with Los Angeles. Gordon finished behind only Nikola Jokic (35 points) for the team lead in scoring in this one, and the 62 combined points from the two big men fueled Denver to a big win.   • Pascal Siakam scores 14 points in Game 4 blowout
    Pascal Siakam shot 7-of-9 from the field in Sunday’s 121-89 win over the Knicks, scoring 14 points with four rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes.

    Advice: Siakam’s stat line was modest, but this was due to the nature of Game 4 more than anything else. With the Pacers leading 34-14 after the first quarter, Rick Carlisle had little reason to push his starters on Sunday afternoon. As a result, Spicy P only played 22 minutes and did not have much trouble getting to his spots when on the floor. With OG Anunoby unlikely to be available for Game 5 on Tuesday, dealing with Siakam is another issue for the Knicks. Indiana’s win on Sunday tied the series at two games each.
