    • Decent output in Game 4 loss
McConnell provided 15 points (7-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Monday's 105-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: McConnell was tasked with handling a bigger role throughout the series, and that was even more noticeable with Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) sidelined for the final two contests. The veteran floor general looked good off the bench, but he wasn't able to complete the comeback on his own. McConnell scored in double digits in three of the four games of the series, including reaching the 15-point plateau in the last two. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:47 pm
    • T.J. McConnell records 15/5/4/1 line in Game 4
T.J. McConnell finished Monday’s 105-102 loss to the Celtics with 15 points (7-of-16 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 25 minutes.

Advice: As in Game 3, McConnell increased his production with Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) sidelined. The veteran backup point guard has been a critical contributor for the Pacers the past two seasons. While that may not mean much regarding consistent fantasy value, McConnell is a player the Pacers value immensely. He’s eligible for an extension this summer, but Indiana must also navigate Pascal Siakam’s unrestricted free agency. As for McConnell’s fantasy prospects, he’s a player who’s most valuable as a streamer if Haliburton or Andrew Nembhard is sidelined. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:38 pm
    • Shines off bench despite loss
McConnell notched 23 points (10-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 114-111 loss to Boston in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: McConnell came off the bench Saturday despite the fact Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) was unavailable, and the former made a huge impact on both ends of the court once again. Given that McConnell outplayed Ben Sheppard, who started Game 3 in place of Haliburton, it wouldn't be surprising if McConnell moves to the starting lineup in Game 4 with Indiana facing a 3-0 deficit in the series. McConnell is averaging 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in the Eastern Conference Finals. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:39 am
    • T.J. McConnell posts 23/9/6/1 line in Game 3 loss
T.J. McConnell finished Saturday’s loss to the Celtics with 23 points (10-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes.

Advice: While he wasn’t Rick Carlisle’s choice to replace the injured Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) in the starting lineup, McConnell was still in a position where he needed to step up. The veteran point guard came through, recording his first 20-point game since Game 6 of the Pacers’ first-round series against Milwaukee. The workload was also notable from Game 3, as the 29 minutes are the most T.J. has played in a game this postseason. Expect McConnell to take on a similar workload if Haliburton cannot play in Game 4 on Monday. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:04 pm
    • Scores game-high 35 points
Murray provided 35 points (13-27 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 43 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to Minnesota in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Murray did everything he could to get the Nuggets over the line but ultimately came up short. He and Nikola Jokic scored 69 of the Nuggets' 90 points, highlighting just how unimpactful their bench was. While it was a disappointing end for Murray, his production this year aligned with what fantasy managers expected coming into the season. Given they will likely be contending again next season, there is no reason to think anything changes from a fantasy perspective in 2024-25. Rotowire.com May 20, 3:58 am
    • Jamal Murray scores 35 points in Game 7 defeat
Jamal Murray shot 13-of-27 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to Minnesota, scoring 35 points with three rebounds, three assists, and four 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

Advice: Murray came out scalding hot on Sunday, scoring 24 points in the first half. However, he cooled off considerably after halftime, and the lack of consistent help from Denver’s supporting cast doomed the Nuggets. Murray, who had a Yahoo ADP of 41.2, finished the regular season as a 3rd-round player in 9-cat formats. The negative was his availability, as injuries limited Murray to 59 games. It would benefit fantasy managers if he can get to (or above) 65 games played. Murray is in for a busy offseason, as he said after Game 7 that he has committed to playing for Team Canada at the Paris Olympics in July. Rotoworld May 19, 8:10 pm
    • Jamal Murray (calf) available for Game 7 Sunday
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) is available for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: There is no surprise here, as the Nuggets have consistently listed Murray as questionable since his calf injury. The elbow injury he suffered during Game 6 was not included on the injury report, but that is another issue the Nuggets point guard will have to manage on Sunday night. Rotoworld May 19, 4:30 pm
    • Officially available Sunday
Murray (calf) will play in Sunday's Game 7 against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Murray has been dealing with a left calf strain throughout the entire series, but he will shed another questionable tag and suit up Sunday. Murray has struggled to produce against Minnesota's stellar defense, but he will likely be called upon early and often in this win-or-go-home scenario. Rotowire.com May 19, 4:29 pm
    • Top distributor off bench in Game 7
McConnell finished with 12 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal over 23 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 win over New York in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: McConnell provided a spark off the bench for Indiana in a winner-take-all contest, handing out a team-high assist total while ending as one of six players with a double-digit point total to help the Pacers advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. McConnell stepped up his level of play in the series against New York, recording at least 10 points and seven assists in three outings. The guard has surpassed the double-digit scoring mark in seven postseason contests, doing so in five of the seven games against the Knicks. Rotowire.com May 19, 3:19 pm
