  • Jaylen Brown scores 22 with a full line in Game 3
    Jaylen Brown shot 11-of-20 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Saturday’s 104-84 win over the Heat, amassing 22 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 33 minutes.

    Advice: Brown missed all four of his 3-point attempts, but that was the lone blemish on his stat line in the Celtics’ 20-point victory. He’s shot 50% or better from the field in all three games, scoring 20 or more in the last two. Brown and the Celtics combined to shoot 11-of-37 from three on Saturday, but they did a far better job defending that shot than in Game 2. Miami was 9-of-28 from beyond the arc in Game 3, a big reason why the Celtics took a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 is on Monday night, and Boston has won ten of its last 13 games in Miami.   • Rough night Saturday
    McCollum produced 16 points (7-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals across 35 minutes during Saturday's 106-85 loss to the Thunder in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: McCollum went just 7-of-22 from the field, summing up another rough night for the Pelicans. After falling behind early, New Orleans was never able to get back into the game, shooting just 38.1 percent from the floor as a team.     Wallace accumulated five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and three steals across 18 minutes during Saturday's 106-85 win over the Pelicans in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Wallace continued to be a pest on the defensive end of the floor, racking up three steals in the blowout victory. Despite coming off the bench, Wallace has been an impactful player for the Thunder, often used in situations where defense is key.   • Tyler Herro struggles, finishes with 15 points
    Tyler Herro shot 5-of-16 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Celtics, accounting for 15 points, two rebounds, two assists, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

    Advice: The road team has recently dominated the Celtics/Heat series, and Saturday was no exception. After going off in Miami’s Game 2 victory, Herro was held in check, shooting 2-of-7 from two and finishing with nearly as many turnovers (four) as made baskets (five). The Head didn’t get much from Caleb Martin, either, as he finished with five points, three rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.     Giddey notched 21 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-85 victory over New Orleans in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Giddey put together his best performance of the postseason, helping guide the Thunder to a comfortable victory. He was one of three Oklahoma City players to score at least 20 points, a feat achieved by no one for the Pelicans. Now leading the series 3-0, the Thunder will look to end things in Game 4 Monday.   • CJ McCollum produces 16/5/7/2/1 line in loss
    CJ McCollum struggled with his shot but still contributed 16 points (7-of-22 FGs), five rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block, two triples and six turnovers against the Thunder on Saturday.

    Advice: McCollum may have produced solid value in the box score, but this wasn’t an efficient performance for him. He started 1-of-10 from the floor, and he accounted for six of the team’s 20 turnovers. New Orleans has needed more out of McCollum with Zion Williamson sidelined, but that hasn’t happened. They’ll host the Thunder in Game 4 on Monday, and McCollum will have to be much better than he was in this one if they want to avoid the sweep and keep their season alive.   • Brandon Ingram leads Pelis with 19 points in loss
    Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 19 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two triples in a 106-85 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 3 on Saturday.

    Advice: With Zion Williamson sidelined, the Pelicans have needed BI to put the team on his back. He simply hasn’t been able to do that. He is averaging 18.3 points per game in this series, which isn’t All-Star level production. They’re now down 3-0 in this series, and they’ll need Ingram to step up his aggressiveness in Game 4 on Monday if they want to extend this series. He made 50% of his shots in this game after shooting 50% in Game 2 as well. They simply need him to shoot more, which is something that Lu Dort hasn’t made easy. Rotoworld Today, 3:31 pm
     
  • Jalen Williams tallies 21/9/5/2 line in Game 3
    Jalen Williams posted a solid line on Saturday with 21 points (9-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and three triples against the Pelicans.

    Advice: JDub came out of the game early after getting poked in the eye, but he was able to return quickly and make a big impact on this game. Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey combined to score 66 of OKC’s 106 points in this game, and the Pelicans didn’t have an answer for the second straight game. Williams has been really solid through the first three games of his playoff career, which shouldn’t come as a surprise.   • Josh Giddey produces 21/8/6/1 line with 4 triples
    Josh Giddey stuffed the stat sheet on Saturday and finished with 21 points (8-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against the Pelicans in Game 3.

    Advice: Giddey played better in Game 2 than he did in Game 1, and he was even better in this one. He produced a solid stat line, and he was a threat from beyond the arc, which has been a weakness for the team. If Giddey can consistently knock down open shots, they’ll be a difficult team to slow down during this postseason. It is unlikely that he will continue to be this productive as a scorer, but he was an important piece in their big win on Saturday. If he can have another game like this, they won’t have any issues closing this series out in Game 4 on Monday. Rotoworld Today, 3:19 pm
