    Advice: Adebayo had to shoulder a bigger load on offense due to the absences of Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck), and for the most part, the star big man delivered. He scored 20 or more points in each game of the series while posting two double-doubles.     Bam Adebayo played 36 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics, accounting for 23 points (10-of-26 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.

    Advice: For the second straight game, Adebayo hit a 3-pointer. As was the case in Game 4, it did not matter, as the Heat were eliminated from the playoffs in blowout fashion. Bam led the team in points and assists but was inefficient as a scorer. Given how shorthanded Miami was, they needed a near-perfect game from the available players to have a shot. That didn’t happen, so attention now turns to the offseason. Adebayo entered the season with a Yahoo ADP of 32.7, and while the availability was there (70 games played), the production dipped slightly. The three-time All-Star averaged one point less per game compared to the 2022-23 campaign, and Bam also experienced decreases in field goal and free throw percentages.     Advice: Portis atoned for his ejection in Game 4, leading the Bucks to an emphatic victory. He led all scorers with 29 points, having his way on the interior against a Pacers team that looked out-enthused. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) still on the sideline, Portis has been the primary beneficiary. Milwaukee will need him to replicate this performance Thursday should they hope to force a Game 7.     Bobby Portis lit up the Pacers with 29 points (14-of-24 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one triple in Game 5 on Tuesday.

    Advice: After getting ejected early in Game 4, Portis was able to play the entire game on Tuesday. He was able to make up for it with his best performance of the series to help them secure the win and extend the series. He has been fantastic as a starter in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo and has a double-double in every game that he has finished this series.     Advice: Allen has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to a right rib contusion he suffered in Game 4. Isaac Okoro will replace him in the starting lineup, with Damian Jones and Tristan Thompson candidates to receive increased playing time off the bench.     Jarrett Allen (right rib contusion) has been ruled out for Game 5 on Tuesday against the Magic, which will allow Isaac Okoro to start in his place.

    Advice: With Allen sidelined, Evan Mobley will shift over to center, with Okoro entering the starting unit. Mobley has had a solid series, but he’ll have to really step up with Allen out of the rotation. Tristan Thompson will likely also be forced into extra minutes behind Mobley.
