    • Efficient in Game 5 win
White chipped in 25 points (8-13 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 118-84 win over Miami in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: White co-led the Celtics in scoring on Wednesday alongside Jaylen Brown, and he enjoyed playing a more prominent role on offense with Kristaps Porzingis (calf) sidelined and with Jayson Tatum taking a bit of a step back on the scoring side of things. White reached the 20-point mark in three of his five appearances in the series against the Heat, and he should remain an offensive menace in the Eastern Conference Semifinals regardless of whether the Celtics face the Magic or the Cavaliers. • Derrick White scores 25 points with five triples
Derrick White shot 8-of-13 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line in Wednesday’s win over the Heat, scoring 25 points with five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: It didn’t take long for White, who scored 38 points in Game 4, and the Celtics to turn the series clincher into a laugher. Boston tallied 41 points in the first quarter and did not look back, earning themselves some valuable rest days ahead of the second round. Whether the opponent is Cleveland or Orlando (CLE leads 3-2 ahead of Friday’s Game 6), White will be a crucial figure due to his defensive prowess. And the final games of the Heat series showed what he’s capable of offensively, especially if opponents devote too much defensive attention to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. • Drops 40 points in Game 5 loss
Brunson amassed 40 points (15-32 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-9 FT), three rebounds, six assists and three steals across 51 minutes during Tuesday's 112-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Brunson was carrying a probable tag into Tuesday's game with a right knee contusion, but he powered through it and didn't appear limited in any way. Brunson's counting stats continue to be through the roof, but he has struggled with his shot. Through five playoff games, Brunson is hitting 41.9 percent from the field and 28.9 percent from beyond the arc. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:53 am
    • Jalen Brunson drops 40 in OT loss in Game 5
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 40 points (15-of-32 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, three steals and four triples in a 112-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Advice: With a chance to close out the series at home, Brunson had a massive performance, which was his second straight game with at least 40 points. Unfortunately, an unreal stretch from Tyrese Maxey late in the fourth quarter forced overtime, where the Knicks just couldn’t get anything going outside of Brunson, who scored all nine of their points in the extra frame. It was still an impressive game from Brunson, but they’ll now have to go into Philadelphia for Game 6 on Thursday. Brunson averaged 43 points in the two games in Philly, with the Knicks coming away with a win in Game 4. They’ll need another masterclass performance out of him to avoid a Game 7. • Kawhi Leonard (knee) ruled out for Game 5 vs. Mavs
Kawhi Leonard (right knee inflammation) will remain sidelined for Game 5 against Dallas on Wednesday.

Advice: Unsurprisingly, Leonard has been ruled out for Game 5, though the situation isn’t as bleak as many expected. The Clippers have won the two games that he hasn’t played in, and they were able to reclaim home court advantage in Game 4. They won’t force Kawhi back out on the court if he isn’t 100%, which means that Amir Coffey should remain in the starting unit. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:04 pm
    • Ruled out for Game 5
Allen (ribs) won't play in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Magic, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Allen has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to a right rib contusion he suffered in Game 4. Isaac Okoro will replace him in the starting lineup, with Damian Jones and Tristan Thompson candidates to receive increased playing time off the bench. Allen's next chance to suit up is Game 6 on Friday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 4:35 pm
    • Jarrett Allen ruled out, Isaac Okoro to start
Jarrett Allen (right rib contusion) has been ruled out for Game 5 on Tuesday against the Magic, which will allow Isaac Okoro to start in his place.

Advice: With Allen sidelined, Evan Mobley will shift over to center, with Okoro entering the starting unit. Mobley has had a solid series, but he’ll have to really step up with Allen out of the rotation. Tristan Thompson will likely also be forced into extra minutes behind Mobley. • Suiting up against Philadelphia
Brunson (knee) is available and in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Game 5 against the 76ers.

Advice: Brunson has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a right knee contusion. While the star guard is averaging 33.0 points per game across the four games of the series, he is shooting just 40.5 percent from the field and 25.9 percent from three. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 3:44 pm
    • Jalen Brunson (knee) available for Game 5 Tuesday
According to TNT’s Jared Greenberg, Jalen Brunson (right knee contusion) is available for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.

Advice: As expected, Brunson is available as the Knicks look to close out a series on their home court for the first time since 1999. He’ll take on his usual workload despite dealing with multiple injuries. Rotoworld Tuesday, 3:38 pm
