      Advice: Nikola Jokic finished just one assist away from a triple-double, and Jamal Murray had another impressive showing, but the Nuggets came through in Game 3 thanks to the energy and tenacity of Gordon, who stepped his game up when Denver needed him the most, especially in the third quarter. The 29-point output was Gordon's second-best scoring mark of the entire campaign, and he's averaging a solid 18.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game through the first three games of the series against the Lakers.       Advice: Gordon was outstanding in Game 3, leading Denver to its 11th straight win over the Lakers (regular season and playoffs). He established playoff career-highs in points and rebounds, and five of his 15 boards were of the offensive variety. All three of Denver’s frontcourt starters scored at least 20 points, with Michael Porter Jr. adding 20 along with 10 rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers.       Grayson Alen (right ankle) is listed as questionable for the Suns’ Friday matchup with the Timberwolves.

He practiced in a limited capacity Thursday and was able to run with a water treadmill. He also said that his ankle feels "better than expected."       Advice: Although Portis didn't come anywhere near Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) usual production, the former is doing enough to keep the interior afloat. Portis is expected to play at least one more game as Antetokounmpo's fill-in, but he'll need to keep the double-doubles coming.       Advice: Although Haliburton's former reputation as a prolific scorer has faded throughout the season, his skill as a facilitator is as strong as ever. The Pacers could use a dose of Haliburton's former shot volume as they attempt to advance, but recent trends show that big scoring numbers for the guard may not be coming.       Tyrese Haliburton finished Tuesday’s 125-108 win over the Bucks with 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

      Advice: While Haliburton’s scoring production remained below his usual standard in Game 2, he was much more impactful as a playmaker. The All-Star point guard dished out 12 helpers in the Pacers’ victory after accumulating eight in Game 1. Indiana won Game 2 in the paint, scoring 52 of its 125 points in that area.       Towns finished Tuesday's 105-93 win over the Suns in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 12 points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes.

      Advice: The coaching staff continues to monitor Towns' minutes after he made a late-season return from a knee injury. He also picked up four fouls in quick time, perhaps limiting his time on the floor Tuesday. Over the Timberwolves' first two playoff matchups this year, he's averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 25.5 minutes per game. The concern now is potential swelling as the team flies to Phoenix for Game 3 on Friday, and Allen may not be a lock to play.
