    • Shooting woes continue Wednesday
Edwards ended Wednesday's 108-105 loss to the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals with 19 points (6-16 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 41 minutes.

Advice: Edwards might have ended just two assists away from recording a triple-double, but the Timberwolves need him to be an efficient scorer, and he hasn't been able to do that of late. The Timberwolves have gone 2-2 across their last four playoff contests, and Edwards is averaging just 20.0 points per game while shooting a mere 34.7 percent from the field. That's a clear downgrade from a regular season in which he scored 25.9 points per contest while shooting a career-high 46.1 percent from the floor. Rotowire.com Today, 8:35 am
    • Reaches 30-point mark Wednesday
Irving ended with 30 points (12-23 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 108-105 win over the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

Advice: Even though Luka Doncic grabbed most of the headlines following an impressive performance in the series opener, there's no question Irving also played a pivotal role in the Mavericks' win. Irving has had a few subpar showings in the current postseason run, but he's scored 22 or more points in three of his last five appearances, so he seems to be peaking at the right time for a Dallas team that's only three wins away from a berth in the 2024 NBA Finals. • Anthony Edwards struggles in Game 1, scores 19 PTS
Anthony Edwards played 41 minutes in Wednesday’s 108-105 loss to the Mavericks, accounting for 19 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and five 3-pointers.

Advice: On Wednesday, Edwards made his first appearance in the Western Conference Finals, and he was not his usual self offensively. He settled too often in Game 1, with 12 of his 16 shot attempts coming from beyond the arc. By comparison, only 36% of Edwards’ shot attempts in Minnesota’s second-round series against Denver were 3-pointers. The good news for DFS players is that he offered solid production in the rebound and assist categories while making five 3-pointers. However, if Minnesota is to win this series, they need Ant-Man to do more work off the dribble than he did on Wednesday. Game 2 is on Friday night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:39 pm
    • Kyrie Irving comes out hot, finishes with 30 PTS
Kyrie Irving shot 12-of-23 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 108-105 win over Minnesota, tallying 30 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot in 40 minutes.

Advice: Irving missed all three 3-point attempts in Wednesday’s series opener but was excellent in the paint. The Mavericks guard shot 8-of-13 in the paint, including 5-of-7 inside the restricted area. And after consistently getting off to slow starts during Dallas’ second-round series against Oklahoma City, Irving set the tone on Wednesday. He shot 11-of-14 from the field in the first half, scoring 24 of his 30 points. Look for a more aggressive Irving moving forward, as he has the most playoff experience of any player in the Mavericks rotation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:23 pm
    • Records eight points off bench
Pritchard logged eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and two assists over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime win over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: The Celtics are using a very tight eight-man rotation right now, but Pritchard is pretty clearly the sixth man for the foreseeable future. He's been excellent through 11 playoff appearances, averaging 7.8 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds while hitting 47.0 percent from the field and 44.7 percent from beyond the arc. • Notches 26 points in win
Brown contributed 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 44 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime victory over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: This was a great response from Brown after he was held to 11 points in the final game of the previous series against the Cavaliers. He's been terrific for most of the playoffs, to be fair, as he's hitting 54.8 percent from the field while averaging 23.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:36 am
    • Double-doubles in Game 1 loss
Haliburton totaled 25 points (8-18 FG, 6-14 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime loss to the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: The Pacers played a terrific game for the majority of the night but made some crucial mistakes in the final minute to allow Boston to sneak away with the win in overtime. The Pacers will be looking to bounce back in Boston for Game 2 Thursday. Haliburton has been terrific in the postseason, averaging 19.3 points, 8.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 3.6 three-pointers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 am
    • Undergoes surgery on wrist
Bogdanovic underwent surgery on his left wrist Wednesday and will be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks.

Advice: It was previously reported that Bogdanovic would undergo surgeries on both his left wrist and his left foot, but there's no clarity on when he will undergo the foot procedure. Bogdanovic made only 29 appearances for the Knicks after being traded to New York at the deadline, posting averages of 10.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 three-pointers. • Tyrese Haliburton tallies 25 points, 10 assists
Tyrese Haliburton shot 8-of-18 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime loss to the Celtics, amassing 25 points, three rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, one block, and six 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: After hitting six 3-pointers in Indiana’s Game 7 win over the Knicks, Haliburton hit six more in the Eastern Conference Finals opener. However, turnovers and a minus-15 margin at the foul line proved costly for the Pacers. Haliburton was only responsible for three of the team’s 21 turnovers, but many of the team’s miscues were unforced. While Indiana can take solace in having a chance to win Game 1 against a well-rested opponent, the truth is that they let this one get away. Haliburton and the Pacers will look to grab home-court advantage in Game 2 on Thursday. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:36 pm
