      Advice: Irving had a tough night at the foul line, but that doesn’t erase the overall contributions. He was especially important during the moments when backcourt sidekick Luka Doncic was laboring through ankle and knee ailments. Irving and Doncic are the biggest reasons why Dallas returns home for Sunday’s Game 3 with a 2-0 series lead.       Luka Doncic shot 10-of-23 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line in Friday’s 109-108 win over Minnesota, scoring 32 points with 10 rebounds, 13 assists, and five 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

      Advice: Doncic isn’t playing at full strength, as he has been dealing with ankle and knee issues. Despite making multiple trips to the locker room during Game 2, the All-NBA guard saved his best for last. Doncic hit a step-back 3-pointer over Rudy Gobert with 3.0 seconds remaining to give Dallas a one-point lead and eventually the win. Luka has recorded four triple-doubles this postseason, and the Mavericks are two wins away from the NBA Finals. Game 4 is on Sunday night, and while Doncic is likely to appear on the injury report, look for him to take on his usual workload. Rotoworld Friday, 8:10 pm

      Irving ended with 30 points (12-23 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 108-105 win over the Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

      Advice: Even though Luka Doncic grabbed most of the headlines following an impressive performance in the series opener, there's no question Irving also played a pivotal role in the Mavericks' win. Irving has had a few subpar showings in the current postseason run, but he's scored 22 or more points in three of his last five appearances, so he seems to be peaking at the right time for a Dallas team that's only three wins away from a berth in the 2024 NBA Finals.       Naz Reid shot 5-of-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Mavericks, finishing with 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

      Advice: As has been the case throughout this season, Reid gave the Timberwolves solid production off the bench in Wednesday’s Game 1. Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, their bench outscoring the Mavericks reserves by a 28-14 margin didn’t mean much. Kyle Anderson added 11 points, two rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes, shooting 5-of-8 from the field. While Reid and Rudy Gobert (12/7/1/1/2 in 38 minutes) recorded full stat lines, the struggles of Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards were too much to overcome.       Advice: Irving missed all three 3-point attempts in Wednesday’s series opener but was excellent in the paint. The Mavericks guard shot 8-of-13 in the paint, including 5-of-7 inside the restricted area. And after consistently getting off to slow starts during Dallas’ second-round series against Oklahoma City, Irving set the tone on Wednesday. He shot 11-of-14 from the field in the first half, scoring 24 of his 30 points.       Reid closed with 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 22 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 win over the Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Reid played additional minutes down the stretch due to Karl-Anthony Towns' foul trouble. As usual, Reid delivered on the offensive end and tallied a few key blocks.       Advice: Despite scoring only 13 points, Gobert connected on several key baskets down the stretch. This included a turnaround jumper as the shot clock expired, impressing even his own teammates. With the win, the Timberwolves advance to their first Western Conference Finals appearance in 20 years.       Advice: As the Knicks continued to lose players, DiVincenzo kept firing away. He was outstanding in Game 7, shooting over 50% from the field and scoring 39 points. While DiVincenzo had a few games this postseason in which he struggled, the overall play was excellent. His 2023-24 season was better than anyone imagined, with DiVincenzo progressing from valued reserve to fixture in the Knicks starting lineup. He provided 3rd-round fantasy value after the trade deadline and finished the season just outside the top 60 in 9-cat formats. Expecting that level of production from DiVincenzo in 2024-25 would be a bit much, especially with a healthy Knicks roster. However, he’ll be worth selecting just inside the top 100.       Advice: DiVincenzo led the way for New York on offense, leading all players in Sunday's winner-take-all game in threes made while setting a record for most threes in a Game 7 in NBA playoff history. As a result, DiVincenzo led all players in scoring, coming up one point shy of reaching the 40-point mark and tying a season-high point total.
