    • Donte DiVincenzo scores 39 in Game 7 defeat
      Donte DiVincenzo shot 11-of-21 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, scoring 39 points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals, and nine 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

      Advice: As the Knicks continued to lose players, DiVincenzo kept firing away. He was outstanding in Game 7, shooting over 50% from the field and scoring 39 points. While DiVincenzo had a few games this postseason in which he struggled, the overall play was excellent. His 2023-24 season was better than anyone imagined, with DiVincenzo progressing from valued reserve to fixture in the Knicks starting lineup. He provided 3rd-round fantasy value after the trade deadline and finished the season just outside the top 60 in 9-cat formats. Expecting that level of production from DiVincenzo in 2024-25 would be a bit much, especially with a healthy Knicks roster. However, he’ll be worth selecting just inside the top 100.       DiVincenzo posted 39 points (11-21 FG, 9-15 3Pt, 8-10 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist over 41 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 loss to Indiana in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: DiVincenzo led the way for New York on offense, leading all players in Sunday's winner-take-all game in threes made while setting a record for most threes in a Game 7 in NBA playoff history. As a result, DiVincenzo led all players in scoring, coming up one point shy of reaching the 40-point mark and tying a season-high point total.     • Kyrie Irving extends closeout record to 14-0
      Kyrie Irving finished Saturday’s 117-116 win over the Thunder with 22 points (9-of-23 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, and four 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

      Advice: As in the series’ first five games, Irving picked up the production after halftime on Saturday. He made seven of his nine field goals in the second half, finishing as one of three Mavericks with at least 22 points. The win pushed Irving’s record in closeout games to 14-0, the best mark in NBA postseason history. The chemistry between him and Luka Doncic has been strong, and the supporting cast has come into its own. Dallas advances to the Western Conference Finals, where they will play Denver or Minnesota.       Donte DiVincenzo played 39 minutes in Friday’s 116-103 loss to the Pacers, tallying 17 points (6-of-14 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers.

      Advice: DiVincenzo has cooled off considerably since scoring 25 points or more in the series’ first three games. While he hit double figures in Game 6, the Big Ragu has gone 13-of-41 from the field in Games 4 through 6. With Jalen Brunson receiving constant defensive attention from the Pacers, the Knicks need more from DiVincenzo in Game 7 on Sunday afternoon. The same can be said for reserve Alec Burks, who shot 2-of-8 from the field on Friday, especially if Josh Hart (abdomen) is limited or cannot play.       Irving posted nine points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and nine assists in 41 minutes during Monday's 100-96 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: The Mavericks have welcomed the emergence of P.J. Washington in the series against the Thunder, as Kyrie Irving has struggled badly so far. He's failed to score in double digits in two of four games versus OKC and is shooting a mere 35.7 percent from three-point range. Irving needs to take on a bigger role on offense if the Mavericks want to move to the Western Conference Finals, especially considering how banged up Luka Doncic is.     • Kyrie Irving musters up 9/1/9 line in Game 4 loss
      Kyrie Irving struggled on Monday and finished with just nine points (4-of-11 FGs), one rebound and nine assists against the Thunder.

      Advice: Kyrie has been able to put together some spectacular second halves after not doing much in the first half throughout this postseason. However, that wasn’t the case in this game. After entering halftime with four points and seven assists, he didn’t add much after the break. Dallas can’t survive with both Luka Doncic and Irving struggling, which was the case in this game. OKC regained homecourt advantage in this game, which means that Dallas will have to win another game on the road to win this series.       Donte DiVincenzo played 32 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Pacers, tallying seven points (3-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: After catching fire in the Knicks’ Game 3 loss on Friday, DiVincenzo could not find his groove in Game 4. And that was the case for the team as a whole, as New York was outscored by a 34-14 margin in the first quarter and never got back into the game. DiVincenzo was subbed out late in the third quarter as the last starter to exit Sunday’s loss. The Knicks host Game 5 on Tuesday, with the series tied at two.
