• Mike Conley hits four 3-pointers, scores 16 points
Mike Conley amassed 16 points (6-of-11 FGs), one rebound, four assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes in Sunday’s Game 3 loss to the Mavericks.

Advice: Due to a strained soleus muscle, Conley is playing at less than full strength. However, give the veteran point guard credit for pushing through the injury, as he had another efficient performance in Game 3. The issue is that the Timberwolves don’t have a good matchup for Conley on the defensive end of the floor. The calf injury keeps him from being effective in guarding Luka Doncic or Kyrie Irving, and forwards Derrick Jones Jr. and PJ Washington are too big. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (3/2/3 with one 3-pointer in 20 minutes) and Kyle Anderson (10 points, three assists, and two blocks in 17 minutes) may have to do a little more in Game 4 on Tuesday, but it won’t matter if the Timberwolves don’t get better play from Karl-Anthony Towns. • Kyrie Irving scores 33 points in Game 3 triumph
Kyrie Irving played 42 minutes in Sunday’s 116-107 win over Minnesota, tallying 33 points (12-of-20 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers.

Advice: Dallas has the proven “closers” in this series, while Minnesota doesn’t. Irving scored 14 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, combining with Luka Doncic to lead the Mavericks to a 3-0 series lead. Teams that have won the first three games of a best-of-7 series are 154-0 all-time, so it may be a matter of “when” the Mavericks reach the finals for the first time since 2011 instead of “if.” Also, Irving is 14-0 in his NBA postseason career in close-out games. • Luka Doncic posts 33/7/5/5/1 line in Game 3 win
Luka Doncic shot 10-of-20 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line in Sunday’s 116-107 win over the Timberwolves, scoring 33 points with seven rebounds, five assists, five steals, one block, and five 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

Advice: Even with Doncic playing through ankle and knee injuries, the Timberwolves do not have an answer for him defensively. The All-NBA guard shot 50% from the field in Game 3, helping to lead the Mavericks on a 13-3 run in “closing time.” The tandem of Doncic and Kyrie Irving gives Dallas arguably the two best closers in the league, while Minnesota has no such option to rely on. The Mavericks will look to end the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday, and doing so would give Doncic (and Dereck Lively II) some much-needed time off before the NBA Finals. • Mike Conley (calf) available for Game 3 Sunday
Mike Conley (right soleus strain) is available for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.

Advice: As expected, Conley will be available for Sunday’s game. He will assume his usual responsibilities as the Timberwolves’ starting point guard. Should Conley have any issues with his injured calf, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will play additional minutes off the bench. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:40 pm
  • Available for Game 3
Conley (Achilles) is available and starting in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Mavericks on Sunday.

Advice: Conley was questionable once again before Sunday's matchup, but he'll be able to continue playing through his soleus strain. Over his last four appearances, he's averaged 11.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:34 pm
  • Luka Doncic (ankle, knee) available for Game 3
Luka Doncic (left ankle soreness, right knee sprain) is available for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: While Doncic remained on the injury report due to two injuries, the knee cast some doubt on his status for Game 3. The All-NBA guard went through his pregame routine without significant issues, so he will play on Sunday night. Jaden Hardy has moved into the rotation for this series and could pick up a few more minutes if Doncic struggles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:22 pm
  • Available for Game 3
Doncic (knee) is available for Sunday's Game 3 against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Doncic was listed as questionable ahead of game time due to soreness in his right knee, but he will officially be available to play. Doncic has been dealing with this issue throughout the series, so he doesn't figure to face any limitations. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:06 pm
  • Jrue Holiday (illness) questionable for Game 4
Jrue Holiday (non-COVID illness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Pacers.

Advice: Holiday was also questionable for Game 3 before being cleared to play. And he was highly impactful in the Celtics’ comeback victory, making decisive plays on both ends of the floor in the final minute. Look for Holiday to be a game-time decision for Game 4, and it would be surprising if he does not play. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:03 pm
  • Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) questionable Monday
Tyrese Haliburton (left hamstring soreness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Celtics.

Advice: Despite sitting in a 0-3 hole, the Pacers will continue to exercise caution regarding Haliburton’s hamstring. This is the same hamstring he injured in January, and it took the All-NBA guard some time to get back to full strength after making a hasty return to action. Ben Sheppard started Game 3 but went scoreless, shooting 0-of-4 from the field. While the rookie could remain in that role if Haliburton cannot play on Monday, T.J. McConnell and current starter Andrew Nembhard are the guards DFS players should target. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:58 pm
