    Brown notched 32 points (12-18 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 120-95 win over the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Jayson Tatum had a rough shooting performance in the series opener, but Brown was there to pick him up, and the latter led the Celtics in scoring with an impressive, efficient display on the offensive end of the court.   • Jaylen Brown drops 32 points in Game 1 blowout win
    Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 32 points (12-of-18 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, one block and four 3-pointers in a 120-95 win over Cleveland in Game 1 on Tuesday.

    Advice: After only having one 30-point game in round one and scoring less than 20 points twice, Brown got off to a much better start in this series. He took over early in this game and scored 15 points in the first quarter, though they didn’t fully take control of this game until after that. Despite an off-night from Jayson Tatum (18 points on 7-of-19 FGs), the Celtics were still able to get a big win to open up the series.   • Goes for 25 points in Game 5 win
    Brown finished Wednesday's 118-84 victory over Miami in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 25 points (11-19 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-5 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes.

    Advice: Brown was one of two Boston players who reached the 25-point mark Wednesday, with Derrick White being the other, but he didn't do much outside of scoring. Brown scored 20-plus points in three of the five outings in the series against the Heat, and he should continue to play a prominent role on offense in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, regardless of the opponent, especially if Kristaps Porzingis (calf) remains sidelined for a prolonged stretch.   • Jaylen Brown finishes series with 25-point effort
    Jaylen Brown logged 26 minutes in Wednesday’s 118-184 win over the Heat, amassing 25 points (11-of-19 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer.

    Advice: Brown recorded a solid point total, shooting well over 50% from the field, but efficiency remains problematic in other areas. In addition to committing five turnovers in the series decider, he shot 40% from the foul line. For the series, Brown was 9-of-20 (45%) from the charity stripe, which will not get it done against stronger opposition. Add in 16 turnovers in the five-game series, and Brown has some things to clean up before the second round begins.   • Josh Giddey knocks down four more triples vs. NOR
    Josh Giddey lit up the Pelicans with 14 points (5-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one block and four triples on Monday.

    Advice: Giddey’s shot has been a weakness for the team’s offense all year, but he has improved drastically over the course of the season. He may have peaked during Games 3 and 4, as he knocked down four 3-pointers in each to help the Thunder complete the sweep and advance to the second round. His season-high of five 3-pointers also came in New Orleans, so he seems to really enjoy shooting on these rims.
